GrubberRaven Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 F'n moron... RB Kenneth DIxon has been suspended for the first four games of 2017 for violating league's policy on PEDs Quote
tsylvester Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Seems to be a "rash" of this lately on this team.. Let me guess, he didn't know what he was taking? Quote
vmax Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 Seems to be a "rash" of this lately on this team.. Let me guess, he didn't know what he was taking? Excellent Guess!!!!!!!!!!!Let's hear the standard scripted response...with head hung low.... "I mistakenly took a substance without the proper NFL medical exemption, and while it was unintentional, I accept full responsibility for my actions and their consequences," Dixon said. Quote
OutsideRzAcE Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 It's not even a surprise anymore that players are taking peds. The surprise seems to be when someone gets caught. Quote
Robjr83 Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 "I mistakenly took a substance without the proper NFL medical exemption, and while it was unintentional, I accept full responsibility for my actions and their consequences," Dixon said. Hmmmm...... smells like Adderall to me. Maybe the Os can use him. Quote
ravinmaniac52 Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 maybe why they signed the RB? better rb's out there? Quote
OutsideRzAcE Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 I still don't think they needed another RB. Buc Allen can slide right in Quote
tsylvester Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 They needed some one out of the back field, for the passing game, in essence, to replace Jus. I just wonder if Woodhead is only a 4 game rental.. Quote
Tornado700 Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 They needed some one out of the back field, for the passing game, in essence, to replace Jus. I just wonder if Woodhead is only a 4 game rental.. Now that would depend on how he plays. Don't forget, Taliferro is expected to be back. Quote
tsylvester Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 They best cut him or they show just how far gone they are. Ooops, am I allowed to say that in this thread? ...... Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 I would not cut him. EH doesn't cost them a thing being suspended. Quote
tsylvester Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 I would not cut him. EH doesn't cost them a thing being suspended.I would, to send a message to the team. It's one thing to make a "mistake", quite another to make another one while serving out the suspenaion... Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 That message concept never works. Quote
tsylvester Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 That message concept never works. Neither does ignoring a problem. He is not that good, often nicked up and now this? There are a dozen or more backs who stay clean, are more durable and more productive than he. While they lose nothing by keeping him on ir, they also gain nothing. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 At this point nothing lost needs to be the way too go. They lose cap bonus money with a cut. Quote
tsylvester Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Very lite he is still under his rookie deal Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Still no point in wasting cap space when they are always so tight on it as is. Quote
cravnravn Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 We have 3.5 mil in cap space, seasons started, how much cap room do you want Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 You do realize players get hurt during the season? They need cap space to sign new players. Hell they just redid the contract for Williams that is only a several months old. Are you related to goldfish? Quote
cravnravn Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 Again 3.7 mil under the cap, it's plenty to get a few players (if needed) signed. I swear you're a fucking browns fan, this isn't about how much cap you can save league. You want to succeed you spend the fn allotted cap money Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 You do realize they lost 2 more yesterday. That means 2 more guys will be added to the roster subtracting from the 3.7. A team usually wants at least $5mil to sign guys during the season. Att he correct pace I would not be shocked to see them out of money by week 10. Quote
