tsylvester Posted April 4, 2017 Author Posted April 4, 2017 Did not see that coming... So...Does Houston feel like a horse's ass now?I doubt it, they were, reportedly, fed up with Osweiler and wanted to get rid of him regardless, as long as they did not have to eat the contract... Quote
papasmurfbell Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 This may also be a way to force Jones hand in releasing him Quote
tsylvester Posted April 4, 2017 Author Posted April 4, 2017 He has been released, or at least the paper work was filed. He was apparently waiting for CBS to decide to make him the #1 color commentator, replacing Phil Simms, he wants to call a super bowl. Big mistake by CBS, Sims was great... Quote
papasmurfbell Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 I hate Simms. He is the worst color guy. Everybody is great. So much nonsensical opinions. Quote

Sims is really good.Yea it's a big mistake. It's enough that we have to suffer through Aikmen on Fox and watch every Dallas game. Now we have another Dallas groupie on CBS. I hope he stays out of football for health concerns. Hate to see him paralyzed for life. That's why nobody wants him. I also hope CBS wakes up and passes on him. Quote
cravnravn Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 Giving Romo the color spot on the #1 announce team..Thought CBS was smarter then that, he'll probably be another Gannon Quote

Every cowgirl will tune in to watch Romo stumble through a broadcast like fielding an snap for a field goal.... Quote
