oldno82
Hate to say it but looks like a Pittsburgh win this week. I just dont think we can stop Bell, Brown, and Ben. They have too many weapons especially with Jimmy Smith down. Plus our offensive line still needs to prove itself in protecting Joe. And their defense has given up way even less ypg this year than us. Steelers 24 Ravens 13.

varaven45
Ravens 27 Stealers 24 Max, I love your optimism but not seeing it . Reading the tea leaves, I just cant forsee a win here,Too may obstacles - the 3 Bs, Heinz Field, no Jimmy Smith, etc. Plus, the Steelers are jacked by this Shazier injury - the whole team appears ready to ruin through a brick wall on Sunday night ! It reminds of a few years ago when Torrey Smith lost him brother in a fatal accident, only for Tiorrey to play the same or next day.The team was pumped and it helped will the team to a W in the burg. I see the exact same thing tomorrow night. But Max, I love your optimism and hope you are right. But I’ll tell you what - if we win, Ill get you a ticket to the next home game - i think it’s Indy - and bring it to you in person.
tsylvester
& VA, you would also have to do the one chip challenge if the Ravens win.

Let's do this: If the Ravens win, then you do as many push ups as the Ravens points scored. You don't have to do them all at once! Over several days will be fine. Remember: Be honest.God will be watching you!
vmax
If the Ravens win then it will be an upset. I won't argue that. This is where having a good defense pays off. You're always in the game. Just ask the Jaguars and Vikings.

oldno82
The Steelers’ inactives are quarterback Joshua Dobbs, offensive linemen Daniel McCullers and Matt Feiler, linebackers Ryan Shazier and Tyler Matakevich and defensive backs Joe Haden and J.J. Wilcox. jeff.zrebiec@baltsun.com

tsylvester
The real defense showed uo, can't get pressure on a good qb, can't stop a real running game, can't hold a double digit lead....
papasmurfbell
Also Harbs does what he does best. He has never learned game mang and just gives leads away.

vmax
The D gave up 545 yards of offense. That's unbelievable.39 points! They looked like a division 2 team playing against the NFL. The Ravens have to go darkside against the good QB's, lines and receivers. Chew up clock. They can't win in a shoot out.Even scarier, field position did not matter. The Steelers O made it look easy. You'd think 38 points would have been more than enough. The Steeler did was crappy too.
JPPT1974
Yeah it was an ugly win for Pittsburgh but a win nonetheless. Ravens really needed to finish the game there.

Sure, the offense could have gotten one more first down, but the defense should have had 1 more stop... Just like many said at the begining of the year, no pressure on the qb late in the game, late in the season. The secondary continues to have break downs, communication issues, covered up by poor quarterbacks. The play calling on offense & defense continues to suck late in the games, as well as poor decisions by the head coach.. Yet Biscutt will do nothing, especially if they make the playoffa by beating horrible teams...
papasmurfbell
Carr was more apt to be attacked with Jimmy going down. That really hurt the DBs. But I think the safeties are weak. Jefferson is really being exposed now.
tsylvester
Both Carr and Jefferson are over rated, neither can tackle and are slow to recognize the routes....
papasmurfbell
Carr is ok. He has really helped to stabilize the CBs. He just needs help sometimes.
oldno82
And let's not forget that Antonio Brown, Bell, and Ben are three of the best as they've proven over several seasons now. Pitt's D stunk too. And yes. 38 points should have won it.
