vmax Posted October 12, 2018 Posted October 12, 2018 Ahhhhhh! Sweet memories of the AFC South.Jeff Fisheee. I wonder if "He's fine." Here's some facts: The Ravens have now lost their last six games decided by four points or fewer, the longest active streak in the NFL. Each of Tennessee's last four games has been decided by four points or fewer.Joe Flacco has 227 pass attempts so far this season, second most behind Andrew Luck (245). Those 227 attempts are tied for fourth most by any quarterback through five team games in the Super Bowl era.John Brown has caught just 19 of his 44 targets this season (43.2 percent), lowest percentage by any player with at least 40 targets. However, he is third in the NFL in yards per catch at 20.8 (minimum two receptions per team game)....https://www.bing.com/search?q=Tennessee+Titans+vs+Baltimore+Ravens+Sunday%2c+October+14%2c+2018&FORM=S00035 The Ravens enter this contest eighth in the league in passing offense with 305 yards per game while the team is 25th in rushing with 94.4 yards per contest. Baltimore is 11th in the league in scoring offense with 26.4 points per contest while the team is 2nd in scoring defense by holding opponents to 15.4 points a game. The The Titans are 29th in the league in passing offense with an average of 186.8 yards per contest and 17th in rushing as they put up 107.2 yards per contest. papasmurfbell Posted October 12, 2018 Posted October 12, 2018 The Ravens should have stayed with the new teams in the south. Quote
tsylvester Posted October 12, 2018 Posted October 12, 2018 This could be, looks to be another field goal game..... Quote
Spen Posted October 14, 2018 Posted October 14, 2018 Hard to win the third of a three game road trip. Even top 5 coaches like Harbaugh struggle with this. Quote
varaven45 Posted October 14, 2018 Posted October 14, 2018 Agreed Spen. This will be a very tough game. I think this game tells us a lot about where this team is and where it’s going.Huge difference between 4-2 and 3-3; especially with Drew & the Saints coming next Sunday. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted October 14, 2018 Posted October 14, 2018 This is a tough 5 games in a row. Quote
vmax Posted October 14, 2018 Author Posted October 14, 2018 The Titans had the #8 ranked defense in yards and #3 in points...so they were good. 11 sacks....just incredible.Shutout....awesome. And....I liked the purple shade of color of the Ravens pants. Could we argue about this please!? Quote
oldno82 Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 Great win, Gets rid of the Browns game stink and establishes themselves as legitimate. Really hope Lewis is OK. It’s apparently not as bad as I first worried it was. The Ravens defense just might wind up being as good as some we’ve had in the past with the difference being the team having a pretty decent offense. Still a long way to go. Ten games left. Quote
varaven45 Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 Awesome D today against a tough opponent in their house no less. Gotta build on this - next up Drew and the Saints! Quote
oldno82 Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 Oh, the new away uniforms with the purple pants and white jerseys look classy. Quote
vmax Posted October 15, 2018 Author Posted October 15, 2018 this game reminded me of the 2000 Ravens win over Akili Smith and the Bengals. They only gave up 96 yards that day....and ruined Smith. Corey Dillon took himself out of the game. there is definitely something here for the Ravens to build on. They can get better. They left points on the field. 4-2....6 games in....that's a good sample size to inventory. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 That is the best defense I have seen them play in several yrs. I am surprised Pees had so little ready for personell he knows. I like Cyrus Jones out there on ST. Between returning and cover punts he is a good add. Any word on Lewis? The OL is so thin that I am not sure they can go without him long. On another note. What the hell was HArbs thinking right before half? So there was a false start on the FG. The chance Joe was going to throw a TD was incredibly small. He has the strongest leg in the game and is super accurate. The play would have taken 5 seconds so there would be no time left. Just make sure that the kicking team is ready for a return if it comes down short. Let him kick the ball in that situation. Harbs has no situational awareness. Quote
GrubberRaven Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 Did anybody even see what happened to Lewis? He made a play and then slowly just got down on the ground and stayed there. I thought he was having a heart attack...it was weird...I did see it was a neck injury, but when? Quote
papasmurfbell Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pi4mR1nQBio His head snapped back during the block. Quote
oldno82 Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 I believe he was released from the hospital and flew home with the team with more tests scheduled for today. Quote
GrubberRaven Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 Anybody else think Joe's INT should have been reviewed or reversed? Quote
vmax Posted October 15, 2018 Author Posted October 15, 2018 It looked like a ball that Snead couldn't handle, he tips it up and then a clean pick. Heard a good one on the radio today; "ISame old Dean Peas defense. Couldn't get off the field on 3rd down." Quote
GrubberRaven Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 The ball hit the ground before the Titan player controlled it... Quote
