I hear Batemen is cleared to run routes. I need more confirmation on this, yet this sounds very promising. It doesn't mean that he's cleared to practice. Maybe...just maybe he'll be ready for the Chiefs game (that's a wild ass guess,)

Yea...that's it oldno.

Chiefs game is a month away. He could make that.

Again the issue is the chemistry with him and LJ  That is built in August and before.  I hope the two of them stick around after practice once or twice  week for a few weeks to just throw.  Dont have any of the coaches there to keep the NFLPA calm.

For a red-zone drill near the end of practice, Lamar Jackson was throwing to Tylan Wallace, Siaosi Mariner and Devin Gray.....Baltimore Ravens, Ronnie Stanley, J.K. Dobbins, Josh Oliver, NFL, AFC

Never seen anything like this....

Marquise "Hollywood" Brown, Sammy Watkins, Rashod Bateman, Miles Boykin and Deon Cain are all still not practicing.

Then James Proche II, who hasn't missed a single day of training camp so far, went down in pain midway through practice. He was tended to by a trainer and remained on the field but did not return for action. Not long after, Jaylon Moore stayed down after taking a hard fall in the corner of the end zone.

Will Lamar play?

Are they going to get 20? I can't see WTF scoring much against the Ravens D.

On their first offensive play, the WTF QB should throw to whoever Peters is supposed to be covering. It will be for a big 1st down gain. Just like the Saints and Panthers 1st opening plays. They threw at Peters. Peters head is not in the game for the 1st play. He's an observer. Like us.

Will Stanley play? Will we see at least 4/5's of the O line?

Will we see any of these guys: Brown, Watkins, Bateman, Miles Boykin and James Proche...

I have so many questions!!!

Former Ravens defensive tackle Lional Dalton announced Wednesday that he would be flying to Baltimore to undergo a lifesaving kidney transplant.

Dalton, who has been battling end-stage renal disease, a chronic kidney disease, for close to two years, told The Baltimore Sun in June that he had found three possible donors in Baltimore. He played with the Ravens from 1998 to 2001, winning a Super Bowl.

They are down to just 2 QBs now.  Unless Huntley plays every down Lamar has to play some.

McSorely might be back by week 1. :fishin:

Better late than never....

  • Left tackle Ronnie Stanley and right tackle Alejandro Villanueva were back at practice after getting Wednesday off.
  • This was a good week for the offensive line. Stanley continued to look good in his recovery from ankle surgery, and he appears more than ready if he gets his first preseason reps on Saturday. The left guard competition looks wide open, but Ben Powers took plenty of reps and built off a solid showing in the preseason game against the Carolina Panthers. Ben Cleveland returned to full activity this week and looked recovered from a concussion suffered earlier in camp....Ronnie Stanley, Alejandro Villanueva, Keith Williams, Baltimore Ravens, NFL, AFC

  • Washington broke up two passes while DeShon Elliott had another interception. Saturday's game could be big for Washington and safety Geno Stone and their bid to make the 53-man roster, and both have been around the football all week.
  • Another player fighting to the make the roster, wide receiver Deon Cain, returned to practice and made one of the best catches of the day on a perfect deep, over-the-shoulder throw from Lamar Jackson. Jaylon Moore was a favorite target of both Jackson and Tyler Huntley.

Just saying....

Jamison Hensley on Twitter
“Per Caesars Sportsbook, 79% of the money and 78% of the tickets have been placed on Ravens in Saturday's preseason game at WFT.

The Ravens, who have won 19 straight in preseason, are 3.5-point favorites.

During this streak, Baltimore is an impressive 17-1-1 against the spread.”

I know, the games don't count and it'll all be forgotten soon enough, but in my view, the fact that the Ravens have matched a record held by Vince Lombardi's Green Bay Packers adds some genuine shine to their 19-game preseason winning streak. Those guys were truly the real deal.

In 1959, when the Packers began their streak, they didn't care that preseason games didn't count. They were coming off a 1-10-1 season, which included a 56-0 loss to the Colts in Baltimore. Lombardi, in his first year as a head coach, desperately wanted them to win anything. A final note on how Lombardi's Packers approached the preseason: after their 19-game streak ended with a loss to a team of college all-stars in 1963, they won their next five preseason games in a row and 13 out of their next 16. Basically, they never stopped caring about winning....Baltimore Ravens, NFL, AFC, Washington Football Team, Preseason

1960 in the championship.  Champions in 61 and 62.

2015 was 5-11.   2016 was 8-8.  2017 was 9-7.  2018 was 10-6 but we must remember that Harbs was probably fired bc that season was headed down the toilet until Joe got hurt and out of the way.  2019 14-2 and finally 2020 11-5.

I have seen no SB appearances out of the Ravens during this time.  I have seem almost firings.  So pls explain what the big deal is about this record.

How were those playoffs in 15-17?  Then in oct of 2018 24-23 Saints, 36-21 Panthers, and 23-16 Steelers.  The wheels were coming off but Harbs made no changes that were not thrust on him.  He was just playing the cards dealt to him and didnt try to get any  new ones.  He is not really a very good coach.  He really has no feel for a team.  He just plays what is in his lap.
