vmax Posted December 14, 2021 Posted December 14, 2021 41.5%-win percentage. 5-point underdogs at home. The Ravens are 1-2 vs the Packers under Harbaugh and 2-4 all time. The Ravens have won 13 straight games against the NFC. 69 different players have played in a Ravens game this season. The Ravens record is 25 in 2020. Harbaugh needs 2 wins to reach 150. Andrews needs 74 yards to be the 1st Ravens TE to reach 1,000 yards in a season. Freeman needs 1 TD to reach 50 career TD's and Lamar needs one more game of 100 yards rushing to a new NFL record of 100 yard games by a QB. Currently he's tied with Vick at 10. Lamar needs 33 yards passing to reach 10,000 yards and 3,500 yards rushing and become the fastest QB in the history of the NFL to reach that mark. I have no problem with Huntley starting Sunday if Lamar isn't healthy. Just remember: It's crunch time. Every game now is critical including this Sunday so if a 100% Lamar can play then start him...and I believe the Baltimore Ravens and their 12th man will get the job done. The logical experts say that I am wrong. However... The Packers stats are middle of the pack like the Ravens. In turnovers the Packers are by far superior to the Ravens, and they commit way fewer penalties. There is nothing defensively that the Ravens can do that Rodgers hasn't seen. Only pressures will affect him And... changing the numbers on the jerseys of the players in the secondary might confuse him for a moment. ...Yea... yea... yea. I know it. Arron Rodgers and Freeman are going to feast on this secondary. So, the only thing that can be done for a Ravens victory (whichi'mcertainwillhappendidisaythisbefore?) is for the Ravens to score 30+ points, tackle and limit the turnovers and penalties. The Ravens have won 13 straight games against the NFC. 14 won't be easy yet I'm sure it will happen. Team Stats Points Per Game 25.2 23.4 Points Allowed Per Game 20.9 21.8 Total Yards 375.1 407.2 Yards Passing 267.5 262.3 Yards Rushing 107.6 144.8 Yards Allowed 341.8 365.5 Pass Yards Allowed 236.7 280.0 Rush Yards Allowed 105.2 85.5 Quote
tsylvester Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 This secondary has been exposed by would be quarterbacks, the pash rush stymied by terrible, patch work lines. Now you want to put them up against one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL? Unless they step on his toe, Rogers is going to have a field day. How will the Ravens lack luster offense either with an inexperinced Huntley or an injured and off kilter Lamar, keep up? I tried to warn you that ending December 8-7 was coming.... Quote
oldno82 Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 Yeah...it looks much too grim for the Ravens this week. Quote
cravnravn Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 I'm with T.....You step on the bastards toe. They can't shoot it up, he needs surgery..win at all cost... 1 Quote
vmax Posted December 15, 2021 Author Posted December 15, 2021 I said the Ravens need to score 30+ points and they will. The Packers O line is suspect, and the Ravens D has been holding teams to 20 or fewer points. The Bank and the 12th man will rain a wall of noise and pain on them... and...we have Tucker for the final play of the game! Quote
vmax Posted December 15, 2021 Author Posted December 15, 2021 Really good article by Jonas Shafer on what Huntley brings to the offense. If you read between the lines, you can see where Jackson could improve if he followed Huntleys lead... Ravens film study: With QB Lamar Jackson ailing, here’s how Tyler Huntley can help the offense - Baltimore Sun Here's a tease... Quote 1. He’s got a quick trigger. This is maybe the most glaring difference between the Ravens’ starting quarterback and backup quarterback. According to the NFL’s Next Gen Stats, only five qualifying quarterbacks this season have a longer average time to throw than Jackson (2.96 seconds) — and only three quarterbacks have a faster average time to throw than Huntley in his slowest qualifying game (2.59 seconds). varaven45 Posted December 16, 2021 Posted December 16, 2021 IDK but w/o Clark ARodgers put up at least a 40 burger on Sunday. Let’s hope Huntley brings the game of his life. Quote
vmax Posted December 16, 2021 Author Posted December 16, 2021 (edited) Not 1 of the defensive players was available for practice today. Jamison Hensley (@jamisonhensley) If Chuck Clark (reserve/COVID list) is out for Sunday, this is the projected Ravens secondary against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers: CB: Anthony Averett (19 career starts) CB: Chris Westry (2 starts) S: Brandon Stephens (7 starts) S: Geno Stone (0 starts) Quote If Clark cannot play, the Ravens will be without their entire starting secondary, as Marlon Humphrey (torn pectoral muscle), Marcus Peters (torn ACL) and DeShon Elliott (torn biceps/pectoral muscle) are out for the season. Could be a career day for Rodgers. Edited December 16, 2021 by vmax Quote

vmax Posted December 17, 2021 Author Posted December 17, 2021 Noooo! The Browns go to Green Bay Saturday, Christmas day. I think their game for Saturday (tomorrow) is being rescheduled due to Covid. They will have a short week and be greeted by our good friend Aaron Rodgers. Clack could play if he tests negative tomorrow, Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 17, 2021 Posted December 17, 2021 I don't care about cle. They are out of it now. Cincy is the only team that can catch the ravens. Quote
tsylvester Posted December 17, 2021 Posted December 17, 2021 Im not seeing anything about their game being rescheduled for tomorrow, it should be based on this; Cleveland currently has at least 24 players -- 12 starters, including the punter -- who either tested positive for COVID-19 this week or were still on the COVID-19/reserve list from last week. Tim Couch is even throwing his name in the ring Quote
tsylvester Posted December 17, 2021 Posted December 17, 2021 Oops check that... Maybe common sense is taking over https://www.si.com/nfl/steelers/news/nfl-considering-rescheduling-cleveland-browns-las-vegas-raiders According to multiple reports, the league is now talking with the NFLPA on the possible postponement of the game due to the outbreak. However, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that the Raiders are aware of the situation, and are not in agreement Quote
vmax Posted December 17, 2021 Author Posted December 17, 2021 3 games are rescheduled. tsylvester Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 Just rule Lamar.out, we've seen him play without practice, he is not good... We all know that he will mot play, a sprained ankle takes longer than a week to heal enough to play on, let alone play the way he does... 1 Quote
oldno82 Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 I'd rather sit him in a game we know we're gonna lose and have him for next week's really big game with the Bengals. 1 Quote
varaven45 Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 Yep, in a game where it looks like our prospects of winning are slim and none and slim left town, i’d like to see Huntley have free reign‘s to do what it is that he can do against the Pack. 1 Quote

vmax Posted December 18, 2021 Author Posted December 18, 2021 Clark is out. That's 7 DB's. Jeff Zrebiec (@jeffzrebiec) Chuck Clark and Trystan Colon did not clear Covid-19 protocol so they will not play Sunday. “Ravens have elevated 2 OL: OT Jaryd Jones-Smith and C Adam Redmond and also DBs Robert Jackson and Tony Jefferson.
