Guest BallTMore Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 He also sold his house in Beverly Hills and is moving back to Maryland. http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/bal-chris-mcalister-0910,0,2494060.story As for his career plans, he said, "I will be back in full force on Sept. 15. I can't say what team yet, but I will be playing again." Looks like he might be a Raven once again, or he's going to the 'Skins. Hell, I'll take him over Walker any day.
cravnravn Posted September 11, 2009 Author Posted September 11, 2009 My ass...source? Come on Grubb, I cant divulge
Dunno Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 *On the heels of news that former Ravens cornerback Chris McAlister was selling his Beverly Hills Post Office home and moving to Maryland, Harbaugh was asked if there was any chance McAlister could re-join the Ravens. "No," Harbaugh said succinctly. Source
Guest BallTMore Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Well there ya go. Case closed. :brokenlol:
vmax Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 I'd say Harbaugh and Cris 'don't see eye to eye'. He's probably here because he has no where else to live for the moment or to sell his house here. CMac was one of my favorite Ravens and the Ravens probably don't get to the Super Bowl in 2000 without him. There was no pass D in Baltimore until he was drafted.
thundercleetz Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 This is probably something that could be addressed later in the season, in the event of an injury or poor play.
cravnravn Posted September 11, 2009 Author Posted September 11, 2009 This is probably something that could be addressed later in the season, in the event of an injury or poor play. We have #41 on our team..Lets address it NOW!!
thundercleetz Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 We have #41 on our team..Lets address it NOW!! As max said, the reason this is not happening is because Cmac and Harbaugh are not exactly the best of friends. I have also heard that Cmac was interested in playing for the Cowboys, but they did not want him. I wonder how healthy Cmac is?
thundercleetz Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 BTW, Frank Walker is the backup nickle back. Carr is the starting nickle and Webb is the starting dime back, so hopefully Walker does not see the field too much. We should also hope that Rolle will be ready to go week 6.
ravinmaniac52 Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 Chris had a meeting with the Bears about two weeks ago. Wonder why they didn't sign him? Walker does a good job when playing just the dime, the reason why he is here.
papasmurfbell Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Did you hear what Harbaugh said when asked about Cmac last week? Let me see if I get this right. "Eh no." He will not be hear. Ozzie doesn't pay in booze.
ravinmaniac52 Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 It's Sept. 16th....does he have a job yet?Yes the date has passed, you can sign a vet and not have to carrie his money the full season if he is cut. He will end up on a team when someone gets hurt. As thin as the Pats are I thought he would have been signed by now.
cravnravn Posted September 17, 2009 Author Posted September 17, 2009 C-Mac heading to the Raaaaaiiiiiiiiiiidddddderrrrrrrs http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/blog/2009/09/mcalister_to_oakland.html
