Whooaaaa. Why so sensitive? No one is attacking you in particular.

Oh my apologies if once again I said something that would cause you to not understand, I am not sensitive, did not think you were "attacking me", I just asked a simple question, answered another of your questions in a way that I had hoped, you would understand; again, sorry for the 'confusion".

Do I not explain my self well enough for you? Is that why you keep ignoring parts of my post? I clearly said I have seen it reported that Gregory MIGHT be the pick, NOT that I thought he would be the pick. I stated I thought it likely that position would be be the pick and that that position is weak in that all the players are roughly on the same level, with potential, but need much, much coaching.

Is that clear enough for you?

Absolutely not. Just informing you that Gregory will in no way drop to #26. Just thought you knew what you were talking about. Sorry, I was wrong.

And yes you are being overly sensitive and snarky to boot. Again, I thought you knew what you were talking about and again I was wrong.

Gregory got popped for pot at the combine. While everyone kid makes mistakes, one must be pretty stupid to use when you know you will be tested.

His "excuse". It was from weed he smoked back in December and while, his words, he woke up every day in college needing to smoke pot, he doesn't need it now...

Currently he is now in strike one of the NFL drug policy, next positive test puts him out of games.... First round pick? hmmm not fer me.....

BS. Fat holds THC longer so he is lying. He is a really fit athlete so it would be gone easily in 30 days.

That would depend on how much and how often he smoked. If he goes through an 1/8 ounce a day or more, normally, for say a month, it will take 3-4 months to get out of his system. Now, if he just used it recreationally, a few puffs per night, every other night or so, then yes, 30 days. A little less frequently, and I've seen it get out of a system in 10 days.

It all depends on how much, how often and what types of fluids they drink each day. Faster metabolisms get rid of it quicker, yes, I used to be a 1/4 ounce per day smoker, back in my college days, 3 foot bongs etc, hash, as well...

My biggest issue with him is not the smoking, but his claim, his words mind you, that he was addicted to it, but all of a sudden, now, after he was caught, AGAIN, he doesn't have an issue with it, sure, ok...

Perriman, 4.24 40 at his pro day.... wow,,,, too bad he doesn't show that type of speed on the field...

I tend to agree, from what I've seen of him he doesn't look like he's running fast. However, he's always running by people. Also the 20 YPC is very impressive. Maybe that's just his running style? Makes it difficult to guess whether it translate. Regardless, I'm positive teams are going to go back and double watch his tape to see if they missed anything.

Perriman would be one of those picks where it would be questionable, however, it would be hard not to get excited.

But also the fat percentage. My ass would take longer than him.

I just wish the league would move on from weed and take it off screening

He absolutely knew there would be a drug screening at the combine, like any other business if you want a job you are going to take a pee test. He's as dumb as a sack of rocks. Edited by cravnravn

Yeah I hope a team jumps off their seats after seeing his pro day and takes him in the first, that will increase the likelyhood of the Ravens getting a shot at a top wide out.

Making great catches, getting open deep is great, but if you drop one that is in your hands, that you need to extend out to catch on a crossing route, you are no good to me.

This is what I'm hoping as well. A team jumps on DGB and Perriman and Strong falls to us. Maybe even Parker falls far enough where we could trade up for him. Wishful thinking though...

Edit: Ravens are bringing Parker in for a visit.

What "scares me" is Dick Cass back tracking, as it were, on the question about a players "criminal history" saying instead of; not any more, it is a case by case basis. I sure hope that doesn't mean they are considering DGB at 26..... Parker would be sweet, if he falls into the 19-22 range or lower I could see them trading up for him.

Figure the Steelers (22) just signed DHB, the Bengals (21) don't need a Parker as bad as other positions, nor do the Lions (23) or Eagles (20) . So if he gets down into that range, (I do think the Browns will take a wide out with Gordon's issues at either 12 or 19) it could work.

I don't think he goes top 15, unless the Phish (14) or Niners (15) take him. If he gets past them, the only other teams needing a wide out with, if it goes this way, the Texans (16), Chiefs (18), and Browns (19) { if they don't take one higher}, That would leave Parker, Strong, Perriman and DGB still on the board.

Cheifs definatley need one for sure, Texans could go any which way, they need help in the secondary badly, but with the loss of Johnson, they could really look at one of those four wide outs.

I can't wait to see what happens with these receivers. Parker would be an awesome pick for us. My brother said the Kentucky Wildcats specifically recruited taller corners to try and guard Parker because he torched them every time they played. Not sure if it's true but funny nonetheless.

I was wondering the same thing about DGB. I looked up his history the other day and he was accused of pushing his girlfriend's roommate down a flight of stairs. Never proven or never charged, however I don't think the Ravens can afford to take on any sort of press regarding domestic violence even if it's not true. However, I heard on the Moving the Sticks podcast that Oklahoma sources raved about DGB and stated he was an excellent teammate for the year he practiced with Oklahoma. Who knows what the Ravens think.

Yeah it goes to show you what NFL writers know about the Ravens saying DT is a need position.... but Goldman does look like a solid pick. Who knows, I hate this time of year.

Keeping in mind Ozzie's successful penchant for drafting defense first and foremost, a Goldman pick might not be too far off. Also keep in Oregon's DE Erik Armstead - this guy is 6'7" 298 pounds and could slide into Pernell McPhee's important spot as DE/LB/DT. Don't understand all this talk about WR's. Drafting a WR at #26 would be foolish and very unOzzielike.

McChicken has has 4 wide outs going in the top 15, 3 in the top 10; Cooper, White and Parker rounding out the 10. I don't buy that, me thinks the dirty positions will go higher than expected.

With the Jernigan pick last year, I just can't see the Ravens going dt/de/olb this draft at 26, maybe if they trade down. Armstead is a solid player with a ton of potential, but not first round, in my opinion, he needs too much work. I have seen mocks that have him going well before the Ravens pick. I've also seen Goldman's name, FSU, mentioned as possible for the Ravens at 26.

If anything, the Ravens have shown they can find solid defensive tackles, ends, outside linebackers late in the draft and as undrafted; their positional coaches are that good at teaching.

I don't know anything about Jones. How is he as a football player?

He has the instincts you want on a corner/safety. However, he is raw, didn't go up against the to talent there at UConn, and a team wil take him earlier than he should go, but were I the Ravens, a 2nd wouldn't be too high for me to nab him, you can't teach that athleticism and as I said, he hs the instincts.
