  1. Bye Lamar. He is 1-3 in the playoffs and didn't bother to travel with the team for their playoff game. Maybe help guide the starting quarterback in his place, talk him up, be a leader. But, he wants to be the highest paid QB in the league. Maybe when he puts up the numbers, wins, accuracy, and reliability as Mahomes or Allen. Hell, Joe Burrow has more playoff wins.

  2. This time of year makes me sad. I really miss the drive up to McDaniel College to watch training camp practices and grabbing lunch with you guys afterward as we discuss what we saw. Good times gone by.

  3. All I can keep thinking is: "I hope we can keep him here". This is a guy you can build a defense around that will last years.

  4. He can ctach passes from Lamar all he wants, in the off season. But when the season starts, he can catch fish in the Seattle fish markets..

  9. Agreed the hangover extends into London or the team consumes some bad fish and chips . Either way, we don’t show up but even if we miraculously make it close, bad Lamar shows up, Harbaugh easily gets out coached by Vrabel, and we come home 3-3. Oh and Harbaugh throws another coach or player under the bus and explains how they’ll look at the film and get better. Book it !

  10. It is far worse than I even thought. I have been going back and forth with a dumbass. He thinks turdy is a great coach. I said he has been along for the ride and anything good that has happened to this team has been done despite him. So onto the research.

  12. Could be a reality check for him. If we end up with two 1sts, atleast we may not be in cap hell for the foreseeable future

  13. This team is fizzling; reminds me of the end of the Billick era in circa 2006-7. The message is stale, there's little team character, chemistry and or substance. I think the right package - coach, OC & QB - can and should improve this teams lot. We might slide a year (2 yrs max), but Id rather do that then watch a very slow, painful bleed job.

  15. This line is actually better, much better than they played yesterday. They just had a very bad game, injuries caught up to them. We knee the rookie mountain would struggle with fast, small defensive ends. A good coach sees this and adjusts, and Roman did not adjust. Even the receivers are good enough, but using them properly, using routes designed to beat zones, get people open is the key. Roman does none of these things. As I said, this offense has gotten worse as the season has progressed, it is not as if the defenses have gotten better, quite the opposite in fact. Yes, the evidence is clear, even Harbs, the Biscuit have to see it, Roman has to go. Defenses are keeping their safeties with in 15 yards of the los, linebackers within 8. That makes it very difficult to run consistently. Before yesterday they would have to blitz to beat this offensive line, even then, the pass blocking held. The issue with the passing game was either poor route combos, or a qb who could not throw on time because he was confused, or could not throw accurately, leaving no yak. We saw proof of that at times yesterday. Huntley got the ball out quickly, timely, and accurately to provide yak. Is he the end all, certainly not. But he deserves a chance to show that this offense can score. You look at other games, Goff for crying out loud put up yards and points. Offenses see safeties 15 yards deep, linebackers 10, making it easier to not just run the ball, but have space for underneath routes, for yak. So that when there is a 5 yard pass, the receiver doesn't have 5 guys tackling him right away. The line will be fine, but they need help getting those back 7 to back off, it's all Roman.

  16. For whatever reason, we don’t play well against Jax- cant get that monkey off our backs. The D laid an egg in the 4th Q but it shouldn’t have come down to that. We should have been up 14-0 instead of 6-0 then let a weaker opponent stick around and come back. I think it’s safe to say we’ve seen Lamar’s ceiling. This team has a dysfunctional offense and has for the past four years. There’s no way we offer him a long term deal. This team in its current form has no chance to advance in the playoffs, even IF it makes it that far. And that stinks. We need to build the rest of the offense around the QB and prepare for a legit franchise QB, maybe in 23; much more likely in 24. Until we get that, we’re going to see exactly what we saw today against the bad teams and big time struggle against the winning teams. My two cents…

  20. I still have a football from the Denver playoff game Femi tossed to me. Funny story; A friend had an extra ticket, his wife couldn't make so he, I and his 8 year old son went. At half time, I head up to get a hot cocoa, Femi, who had broken his foot earlier in the season, was in line in front of me. We started up a conversation about the game, how well it was going. Then I said with a smirk, half joking; hey, if you get a chance toss me a ball, I'm sitting right behind the bench. He laughed, played along and said sure. Late in the 4th with game out of hand, Femi came within ear shot. I yelled to him, there was a ball under the bench right behind him. He picks it up and tosses it to me...

  24. Huntley should be the starter. Sit Jackson let him heal till the contract or trade him for picks. Papa has been right about harbaugh all along. He’s a motivational speaker at best and has very little football savy whatsoever. IMHO I’m not reacting to the game outcome either. It has been obvious to me for years.

  26. Why doest every parking lot in this country have solar panels in them that we park under. I just recently saw a vid on a technology they are about to use in the UK. They are going to add little vertical wind turbines to the light poles on the highways and as cars go by the wind off them turn the turbine. That is in addition to a windy day. Each one would power a few houses for a yr by the estimates. We have a lot of highway miles with probably millions of lights on them,

  29. They haven't beaten a winning team AND, they can't play well in the cold. The Bill's are the hot team, one that could give the Ravens trouble. KC has a terrible offensive line, the Ravens edge rushers alone in VanNoy and Clowney should feast on their offensive tackles. Cleveland, as Papa said, has a legit defense and a very good tightend who alway kills the Ravens. But Joe is a statue, who is predictable, he will throw slants and when under pressure look to hit the tightend, exclusively. It why he is on pace to throw some 30 picks in a full season. They have built their wins on blown coverages, wide open receivers and tight ends. Frankly, all things being equal, if the Ravens play their game, nobody can beat them, no one scares me but the Ravens lack of focus. 4 loses, all winnable games, lost because of turnovers, drops, or as in the Pit game, that one doesn't count. Harbs is having them practice this week, a regular week practice, good for him. This team is healthy, talented, deep, don't let anyone stand in their way

  30. The NFL Is Not Freekn Legit. Gotta sell all the teams junk. Keep divisions close so all gullible fans buy jerseys, cups, helmets, footballs and all the other trash(beer) they sell to fans. Gotta keep divisions close to sell the stuff. Oh and fine players whose jerseys aren’t selling. SMH sorry for the ranting.

  34. If they get Hop, and Lamar signs, and this goes sideways, doesn't work, the front office will have to be fired. Now I am not saying Super Bowl or bust, they aren't the Jets right now, where if Rodgers doesn't produce a championship in the next year or 2 it is a failure. But this team, sans injuries, with those additions would have to have a run deep in the playoffs each of the next what, 3 years, or it will be a failure. Or if this offense doesn't take off because of Lamar....

  35. I just don't know if any team is going to trade for him. He said clearly, that $133 million at signing, $230 or what ever, total over 5 years is not enough for him to take care of his family. His words, yesterday, he also said that offer from the Ravens is proof that they don't want to meet his value. Then you have him ambushing his head coach with this trade demand tweet, breaking his word on keeping things private. I get it, he though he needed to push things along, he wasn't getting any calls, the Ravens were telling him nobody wanted to trade with them. But from a business standpoint point, is that an employee you want? You look at what is cost the Rams to get Stafford, the Broncos to get Wilson, the Browns to get he who shall not be named. Should you expect the Ravens to take less than the Seahawks, Texans and Lions got?

  36. I've seen enough. Week 14 coming up. The Ravens have too many good players to be executing like this. Roman has to go. Harbaugh needs to have a serious talk with Macdonald about what the hell he's doing at times. The D played well yesterday except for a few times. This "bend don't break" shit killed us in the Jaguars game and they almost lost yesterday because of it. It took the Broncos 26 seconds to go down the field from their 18 and get in FG range. Sorry! Not acceptable! Eric needs to talk with Harbaugh about his plan to save a sinking ship. Baltimore Ravens Offense....

  37. I hope Harbs is privately drilling into the team, "guys, we were gifted a mulligan today against a sorry team that we should have waxed". Save us the "guys got to get better" stuff. Max et al, I get that its today's NFL - bad, windy weather, sick Lamar, any given Sunday, etc. - but if Harbaugh wants this team to get game and peak at the right time - they need to get it together now. No more mulligans, laying eggs, etc. starting with Jax on Sunday. If this team wants to make a helluva run to the big dance, it starts now. Every game is a playoff game, and the team., especially the O, needs to get it right.

  38. Lamar does seem to collapse in the 4th quarter but, then, do does the whole team. I think there is a conditioning issue to go along with the questionable coaching decisions. The defense seems to run out of gas and the offensive play calling, that is, Roman, seems to become timid regardless of the game situation. Where's the killer instinct on this team?

  43. True, shoot I had this down as a loss, even with Lamar before his sprained ankle... But this is pathetic. Why would you go no huddle when you secondary is decimated by injuries? Wouldn't you want to eat ckock, keep them off the field as much as posaible?
