Yep. This loss is on everyone - coach down to the waterboy. We all should have seen this coming after last weeks cliffhanger against Jax. Joe picked a helluva game to poop his pants but it happens. This team really isn't worthy of a playoff game. Don't want to see 'em get lambasted by a legit playoff team after getting embarrassed by a 3/4th string QB.

We be laying the proverbial mega egg today.

Wow; still hungover from Jax game ? Picked a heckuva day to pack it in before the game even started.

I also see a closely contested game with a 2-3 point margin of victory. The Texans and Keenum should be loose and fired up; don't know how we will respond. If we play tight and nervous like last Sunday, this could be an extremely close game and decided in the final 2 minutes. Let's hope not and we get a comfortable victory. But I would not be surprised by a loss with the smallest of margin; not this year.

We've made 1 move ?

And Mikey stirring up the hornets nest which he has such a penchant for doing.

What does it matter that a 3rd string QB is playing

Max, Good points ! I scanned a few Tex message boards and they are pretty stoked about Keenum - he's definitely a fan fav. I would like to see the D blitz the crap out of this guy right from the get go and take him and the crowd out of the game. We don't want to let the Texans hang around or it will be a long, close game. -
Yes it should be. The Texans nearly upset the Colts in Indy with a banged up rookie QB. I would expect a 3 pt margin of victory.

That's right. I'm sure that $ is needed to maintain the moat around his New England castle plus prevent the serfs from invading his kingdom.

Don't forget Tom Bieber (I mean Brady) has "nice" cash flow courtesy of Giselle.

GB = damn fortunate w/ Favre followed by Rodgers, SF like good fortune with Montana and Young. Happens every quarter century. NE = genius coach and great QB nearing end of his career; 1-2 years left before his skills erode like Peyton M. Sea = good, cerebral QB w/ excellent skill set and excellent talent both sides of ball, especially defense (secondary). Yep, we are fortunate to have Joe and he's a proven SB winner. FO needs to fortify his WR/TE corps with durable, healthy game changers. They do that and address the defensive secondary, Joe has legit shot at more SB's.

Yep, and another article that reaffirms Joe's goodness, not necessarily greatness. And just think, we could be Skins and Bears fans and lamenting over their hopeless QB situations. Instead, we are very fortunate and, Lord willing and provided he stays healthy, we should enjoy watching Joe another 4-5 years. Good stuff

Kinda like that blowout of Jax that ended up a nailbiter at home ?

Sounds like a PLAYA

It's utterly astounding we have won 9 games - which is the max win total I predicted this year. If we don't win a single more game this season, given the secondary losses, and the Rice debacle, it's been a helluva job by Harbaugh and the man deserves a lot of praise. -
Except Texans didn't have one yesterday and it took a 4th Q end of game pick by Indy to with a closely contested 17-10 Division clinching game in Indy. Like the Steelers/KC game, I expect a close dogfight between the Texans and the good guys
-
He "looks" like a player and has the body size, physicality of a NFL CB. But who in the heck is this guy, and moving forward, how does he figure into our secondary ? Is he starting opposite Webb ?
-
Next week's Texans tilt will be tougher than most think - we already saw what happened after sleeping on Jax. Given the Texans precarious QB situation but a very stout D and All world JJ Watt, the game plan should be: 1. On offense, pound the dang ball and keep JJ Watt in run D mode. We need to return to our run game after yesterdays lack luster performance. 2. On D, prepare for an extreme dose of Foster and Blue. Texans QB Savage isn't going to chucking the ball all over the field. 3. Get the lead, pin our ears back, and send the wolves - Suggs, Elvis, TJ - all game.
-
Which is why you can't sleep on A N Y team in the NFL. We did, at home, no less and it almost cost us. Still, a W is a W and we don't get points for style. 9-5 and still in the hunt .
-
Will do !
-
Still, dont you think an 8-5 team is beating a 5-8 team, even in their house.

Not hating just opining like the rest and what I've been doing on this board the past 10 years. Sometimes right; sometimes wrong but what I think which is what I love about this board.

I don't see us winning the division- too many games we have pooped away and will bite us in the arse - Cincy twice and SD 2 weeks ago. 3 coulda shouldas is too much to make up to win the divisoon.

Crav, Atlanta aint beating Pitt without Julio Jones. He's pretty dinged up and doubt he's playing.
