  1. I wonder if we're looking at one of those mini surgical procedures for Tori and he's out for two or three weeks. Sounds suspicious to me.
  2. Yep, Gregg was a good player and overachiever. As I recall, wasn't he the guy that landed on Jamal in the pre-season, ending his 2001 campaign and exacerbating our Elvis Grbac led season ?
  3. 2015 is looking like "go west young man" !
  4. How is it, after the Os win the AL East and the Bosox win the AL cellar, all the ESPN talking heads, media do nothing but ramble and salivate over the Bosox off-season and their challenges ? Just this morning ESPN spent almost 5 minutes lamenting about the Bosox starting pitching woes and their difficulties in reaching the post-season. Who gives a damn about the last place Bosox, their overpaid and /or overweight FA's and their exorbitant payroll ? . How about the defending AL East Champ O's, Buck Showalter, and their prospects for returning to the playoffs ? Why isn't anyone talking about what they going to do in the offseason, besides losing Cruz & Markakis ? I totally get ESPN is in Bristol Conn, Boston has big market, Baltimore has medium market, but the overwhelmingly blatant bias towards the Bosox and Yanks is downright sickening. I have been an O's fan since the 60s and have never quite understood such a huge (and getter larger) disparity in the media and fan base between the Os and the $$$ teams. Anyone have a rational, reasonable, unbiased answer or reason ?
  5. Dang Crav, spring training is only a couple months out, huh ? I need to check that out some spring while visiting my 'bro in New Smyrna Beach.
  6. How about the other doobie bros with the squealers; getting off the hook, too ?
  7. Good stuff uh I mean crap. Speaking of crap, whatever came of the NFL's decision on the Squealers former backfield - aka the Doobie Brothers - Blount and Bell- and the marijuana charges from last summer ? Weren't they both going to receive 1 game suspensions ? Any one know ?
  8. A class act and rarity in todays sports. Thank you Nick !
  9. Perhaps but he is a human being.
  10. I read somewhere (can't find link) where the Rice ordeal really affected Torrey. Apparently, the two shared much in common and endured similar hardships (raised w/o Father). I could be off base but thought I read about. It makes some sense as I've noticed a drop off in Torey's tenacity and passion this year.
  11. Good stuff ! I wonder though if he reciprocates while in the 'Burgh ?
  12. You wonder how Ray Rice departure has affected his performance this yr.
  13. Ravenmad, I like your idea. We need a beast TE- a game changer.
  14. Crav, Spot on. I ve watched the Jags and you CANT sleep on them nor do you have the luxury of resting players. You get into beast mode.
  15. Yep, all this while the Biscuit threw him under the bus during the Ray Rice crap. Pretty amazing !
  16. No except for 2000 which was probably an outlier and our D was very reliable and predictable: Score 1 TD or 2 FGs; game over Other than that year, cant remember another one.
  17. 31st in pass D ? Dang we are moving up baby Thanks Joe Philbin and Ryan Tanneyhill
  18. Yep. Its funny how the Ravens fortunes change like the wind (or in the case of Crav, week to week). One play we are dead; the next we are alive and kicking. Its enough to make your stomach churn on Sundays - In fact, I am getting a case of Zantach for the rest of the season.
  19. Upon hearing this and seeing him on the field makes me want to do the 'curley shuffle' Yung, yung , yung,
  20. Max, if the Ravens good fortunes miraculously result in a playoff berth, we will all look back on the 97 yard drive as "the game/season changer".
  21. Crav, sounds like you got your swagger back, this week
  22. Absolutely we draft one or acquire via FA. We need a Julius Thomas or Jummy Graham type, a game changer (which Pitta is not even at 100 %). Imagine that on Joe's receiving corps
  23. If Clevelands done then how does Cincy lose its next three ?
  24. Crav, I'm with you except ya think Cincy loses its next three, including Sunday's tilt in Cleveland against the "midget" aka Johnny football ?
  25. Every game, even Jax, will be a grind. Houston and Cleveland games will both be grindus maximus games. I like Forsett's comments and reference to every game being a playoff game. Its shows a sense of urgency and accountability from here on out. Lets see where this al goes cuz I don't have a clue what team will show up next Sunday.
