  1. Definitely agree that we are depending heavily on the 2010 and 2011 draft classes this year, but I really loved the picks in the draft and also have high hopes for the undrafteds as well (Williams and McAdoo), the fact they made the team really says something.
  2. Not surprised they kept Brown. Kid was a stud at Texas and I heard some good things about him, CB's are also great for special teams with their ability to tackle as well as get down the field on coverage.
  3. -Sad Gooden never made an impact. -Really impressed McAdoo showed enough in about a week to actually make the roster, that kid could have potential. -Happy we kept Quan for his special teams as opposed to Jalen since I really like Allen as the backup RB. -Hope Hardy gets brought back for the practice squad and that we find a younger QB for that spot.
  4. Nothing less then 11 wins for this team unless major injury occurs. Our schedule is a *** I'm stupid for thinking this game is easy *** this year compared to last, and if our o-line can hold up in Week 1, it will do amazing the rest of the year. Also, anyone who believes St. Louis is winning more than 6 games needs to go to a loony bin.
  5. Smith isn't THAT bad. He hasn't looked good but he's also going against first stringers so I think you're overrating the play of Williams and Reed. I think its Boldin/Evans/Doss/Smith/Reed/Williams. I think all stay on the roster since Williams and Reed can help on ST.
  6. Yes. I wrote that two posts earlier lol. I'm happy the FO is planning on McKinnie at LT where he can contend with the best pass rushers. Oher and Yanda on the right side are going to open some HUGE holes in the run game.
  7. Super Bowl or bust baby. We've got the best GM in the business. “@1WinningDrive: OT Bryant McKinnie has passed his physical and officially signed with the #Ravens.”
  8. “@BryantMckinnie: Physical complete!” Not sure if that means he passed, but it sure sounds like it.
  9. He's from the U. All of our leaders are from the U. Provided he passes the physical, we have a guy who was one of the best pass-blocking LT's in football for years who WILL get into shape given the respect he has to have for our veterans. A great pass-blocker at LT and a great run-blocker at RT (Oher) has the look of one hell of a line. I think we signed Levoir because he came at the veteran minimum and even if we still get McKinnie, we have Reid as the backup RT and Levoir as the backup LT. We still needed the depth regardless. Before the Levoir signing I was pushing for signing McKinnie and Stinchcomb for that same reason.
  10. Now this from McKinnie... “@BryantMckinnie: I'm out on the 1st flight smoking 2morrow am. Let's Get it!” EDIT: Now Official but still awaiting contract details. If this guy plays to his potential and we start him at LT, our line goes from problem spot to arguably above-league-average. He's a passblocking specialist who is great at LT, moving the great run-blocking Oher back to RT would be dominant.
  11. “@skjensen: BREAKING: Bryant McKinnie signs contract with the Baltimore Ravens. Terms are not know but expected to be one or two year deal.” This is the only news thus far but it was retweeted by the Ravens official Twitter, that has to mean something... Awaiting contract details and I'm wondering how we got this done with Ngata still not resigned?
  12. http://www.carrollcountytimes.com/sports/ravens/ravens-ravens-agree-to-terms-with-de-michael-mcadoo/article_9ac6b0e6-cd25-11e0-9528-001cc4c002e0.html I had heard about this guy as someone who would be drafted in the supplemental draft, though a quick Google search didn't turn up anything that I could find about where people thought he'd go. Incredible talent and physical attributes, but was stuck behind a 1st round pick in 09 and then suspended for 10. Put on 30 pounds of muscle after entering college at 6'7" 220, now at 250. Guy has crazy potential if we can add some muscle to him. Great low-risk, high-reward signing here to help the pass rush (probably in the future). EDIT: http://www.fanaticalfootballfiend.com/3/category/mcadoo%20michael2c0b19e1aa/1.html Kid could be special. We got him at no cost, love this potential with our defensive guru's training him.
  13. Yeah good news on the fact they still wanted him, just wanted to pay him less as a backup. He has a good chance of being better than Reid/Cousins given that news. I still NEED to see the Ngata deal done. We do that and we can bring in Stinchcomb/McKinnie. You can't tell me one of them wouldn't be a clear upgraded at RT.
  14. We easily could keep both Williams and Reed since both have extensive special teams experience and could contribute there.
  15. I couldn't tell but this from the Ravens: “@1WinningDrive: Got to give Oniel Cousins credit for opening that hole for Ray Rice. He took his man down to the turf. Ben Grubbs with nice push too” Nice drive by KC to end the half, couple tricky play calls did the job.
  16. Lee Evans baby, and wow, Leach a blow on the pass reception haha
  17. This offensive line play is atrocious.
  18. http://www.firstrowsports.eu/watch/79357/1/watch-baltimore-ravens-vs-kansas-city-chiefs.html SO MUCH SEARCHING
  19. Anyone find a good stream online, once again I can't seem to find one.
  20. Cap number is different from what he actually is making, but wow, surprising as hell that we didn't cut him.
  21. 60 Million/6 Years might be fair. If it's 5, I understand why we aren't signing him.
  22. GET THE NGATA DEAL DONE. We do that and we'll have enough cap to sign McKinnie and Rabach. Do that and our offensive line depth goes from awful to superb.
  23. http://blogs.baltimoreravens.com/2011/08/15/reed-passes-physical-comes-off-pup/ Don't sleep on this guy. I remember reading all last season how much Harbaugh loved him but he realistically wasn't going to get any PT at WR with 4 veterans (Mase/Boldin/House/Stallworth) above him. Led the league in average Kick Return so even if he can't win the #3 WR spot he can help us a lot in the return games. His injury also was his wrist so he could still stay 100% conditioned. I just want him back at KR and PR cause Webb scares the shit out of me and I don't want to have another CB go down to injury.
  24. Hadn't thought about it like that but I completely agree. Only thing you might want to think about is what if Flacco just goes down for a few weeks midseason? We might want a vet that could pull out an extra victory or two just so we could make it to the postseason. I like your point though.
  25. haha when you said something positive earlier I couldn't believe it, but yes. Fantastic move with absolutely zero risk, who the fuck cares about a 4th round pick? Can't wait to see what Lee can do with a decent Quarterback and without the whole defense keying on him.
