Scratch that. http://www.firstrowsports.tv/watch/84708/1/watch-tennessee-titansvs-baltimore-ravens.html

Anyone find a good stream, I'm not having success as of now, I'll post if i find anything. GO RAVENS!
-
Gorrer indeed straight from P-Squad to active 45. http://blogs.baltimoreravens.com/2011/09/18/grubbs-out-vs-titans/

From my viewing I didn't see Cody have a big game last week, hopefully I just missed his play. I don't see him being a huge impact in this game though as CJ likes to stretch, not run up the gut. I'm expecting to see our DLine go smaller as a result.
-
Interesting that they did this. Gorrer appears to be active as well with Brown inactive? Can anyone corroborate that?
-
Actually excited to see how Gurode plays. We gave him some good money to be the backup Center so it'll be interesting to see how he performs at LG.

There's obviously something wrong with Evans
colincac replied to yagersports's topic in Baltimore Ravens
The boot sounds scary, but when a guy has a slight injury and the Ravens have the ability to put him in the boot, they do it. It can only help him heal faster, no matter how minor the injury. I agree if it's serious we should be sitting him. Torrey looked decent, Reed is back, and Tandon can play. People aren't sleeping on our TE's any longer either. -
This was really a golden situation for McAdoo as well as for the Ravens. He got to 'make a roster' and get the veteran minimum. He knew he wouldn't be ready to contribute to an NFL team this year but now he gets paid and gets to study, workout, and watch the Ravens' vets do it for a year. Expect him to put on 20 pounds by next year and ready to make an impact in the pass rush for us.

Johnson barely got any carries last week and TN has already said they plan on running heavily. Good for us with the CB depth issues. Bring Pollard and Zibby into the box and let Ed play Center Field, make Hasseback beat us.
-
That's a big hit. Expect to see more of Zibby and Nakamura in the slot at 'CB' in Dime and Nickel situations with Pollard taking over as the SS. Or just some 3 safety sets with Pollard more in the box. We can cover up the CB depth issue with our depth at safety.

Was trying to look up something like that to prove my point haha but couldn't find anything, good find. Can't trust Vikes fans as Favre back there last year loved to hold the ball forever, I'm impressed he was even that high up, and yes, agree on Oher, he's at his best on the Right where he can focus on the run blocking.

It is a mormon thing. Whether or not some don't follow the belief to the wire or not, it is, and Heap didn't take medicine to help heal his injuries. Luckily for us, we have plenty of depth at CB, and won't miss Smith for the 4 weeks he's out. "Most high ankle sprains are initially treated with a walking boot or even a cast. The decision to use either a walking boot or cast depends on the severity of the injury and the preference of the treating physician. Both devices will restrict motion of the ankle as well as motion between the tibia and fibula, allowing the injured ligaments to heal. Again, it is important that injured individuals be informed that these injures take roughly twice as long to heal as lateral ankle sprains. In one large study, the average recovery time for these injuries was more than 40 days. As such, physical therapy may not be initiated for several weeks." Given we have an NFL Medical staff, I'd say him missing 4 games is a safe estimate. Hopefully Carr can go next week. Don't sleep on Chykie Brown though, the guy can play, and with McAdoo about to head to the P-Sqaud and now Smith out we'll have 2 extra spots for our game day roster.

My dad's been a lifelong Vike's fan and they're my 2nd favorite team as a result. The guy was known for pass-blocking. In fact, he didn't even give up a sack in his 2 years at the U. Either way, he played great.
-
Yeah Suggs really seems to have that 2nd gear for the Steelers and playoffs that if he was able to bring every week....damn.
-
I disagree. That was all late in the game when all we needed to do to win the game was to not give up the big play. At that point, you make them earn the 15 yard out routes and don't let Wallace & Co get behind you and change the momentum of the game. I thought the coaching and playcalling was superb.
-
The offensive line was the key to this victory. Joe had all day to pass on basically every dropback. The only sack came late and it was a coverage sack if I've ever seen one. People were worried about our offensive line early on, but we went out and made some big moves. Pro Bowl players don't just forget how to play, and we saw that with McKinnie. He got snubbed on the one Harrison penalty and was much better in the run game than I had expected (he's known as a pass-blocker). We WILL have multiple pro-bowlers from our offensive line this year, no doubt about it, and with Gurode now on the bench, we have the depth the make it through the 16 game grind. IN OZZIE WE TRUST.
-
Damn good guy, that's for sure.
-
It was only an ankle sprain so he'll be fine, but yes, I agree. We've got plenty of other backup corners, linebackers, and safeties for that.
-
I saw a victory, but not one like this. The investment in the offensive line sure paid off. McKinnie was fantastic as I foretold, Oher clearly dominant at RT and Yanda a stud at RG. We've also now got Gurode who will be a stud fill-in if necessary at LG/C/RG. Evans didn't make any plans but if you watched closely enough you saw the attention he drew deep opening up space for Dickson, Boldin, and Rice. A great season is a head ladies and gentleman.

More like Ben Roethlisberger for Ravens MVP.
-
Told ya'll this team was going to kill it. Loving this game.
-
We would have to resign Ngata to free up the space I'm sure but Garrard as I said was a league average starting QB last year and would be an extremely valuable backup for us. I do think he may get a shot as a starter elsewhere and take that over us though.
-
I loved Taylor but I still think we are going to give Garrard a look if he doesn't sign elsewhere. The guy was 13th in Passer Rating and 14th in ESPN's new QBR last year.

Fantastic move once again by Oz. Though Gurode wouldn't be ready to make the calls in Week 1, he clearly still has the game and now provides fantastic depth for us not only at Center but at both Guard spots.
