  1. It's a Bengals thing....Lamar watches the game tapes and gets sick thinking about what he can do..........
  2. We've had a lot of talk this week about this being a trap game and justifiably so. I don't think that the Ravens will fall into that trap. Yet it's a division rivalry and these games play out tough and differently. Both teams know each other and this is the second time around this year. In fact, they may know each other so well, that the Ravens just might put up 40 on them. For a moment, let's see what ESPN has to say...... Win Probability 100% WOW! I've never seen that before. My prediction? Well....All I have to go with is my decades of invaluable experiences and observations as a Ravens and football fan, my keen insight on how to process that and my intimate and unique grasp of "knowledge of things they are not wanting you to know" that I possess. "I see a Ravens victory. A bold prediction you might say! F.I.N.E. (not me), let's get bolder and predict the score." I'll be back on this later today as I hear the call to withdraw and go within to contemplate on this. As always, your thoughts and opinions remain invaluable, as the masses fervently wait to read them. Please feel free to withdraw and convene in our newly renovated ER study room, bop on over to the cooler, secure yourselves a few cold beverages. Then, in your usual, unique and highly effective decision making process begin your deliberations.......
  3. I agree. It's good hearing this from Mike because he's not easily pleased. If the Ravens stay true to their performances of past season's, then they will get better and better heading down the stretch. Long way to go, yet very encouraging....and exciting. These are new waters for Ravens fans.
  4. Remember that loss against Cleo Lemmon and the win less Dolphins?
  5. The Ravens are totally aware this is the Trap game of all Trap Games.... This photo is up at the Castle to remind the team of what they will look and feel like if they have a let down....
  6. It does look like he may be more explosive and decisive. I guess I'll just hold my breath watching him catch the ball.
  7. I watch the hits too and it does look like he's avoiding heavy contact very well. Nevertheless...he had 16 carries against the Pats. A ton of QB's are out this year and almost all of them didn't get hurt running. Arm, hand and shoulder injuries and QB hits in the pocket took them out. Injuries to QB's are a very real event and concern for every team in the NFL. That's why there are so many rules to protect QB's. In Lamar's case, from what I see, he's safer on the run then taking sacks and hits in the pocket.
  8. I'm not liking this... Swapping 'same for same'.
  9. 8 years and the pounding has caught up with him. That has me thinking about Lamar and his window.
  10. He's starting to feel high on this team. So is Vegas.
  11. Your right on all the "caution" and focus concerns. But remember....
  12. When was the last time the Ravens were at the midway point in the season with a lead on everybody? Almost never. At this point of the season, usually they are playing catch up.\ As for boring....as a Ravens fan I can't believe this is happening. I'm so used to watching offenses that burn my eyes and hurt my brain.
  13. People make fun of him because he talks so fast. If you listen, he's very focused, processes information rapidly and makes decisions in an instant. In seconds, he relayed to the press every defense Bellicose showed him and he was ready for it. He reads and reacts so fast. This will be the asset that keeps him playing at a high level for a long time.
  14. Shit....the Ravens just went through the hardest part in their last 2 games.
  15. Max Kellerman doesn't know shit about football.
  16. I think the teams focus is the same as Lamars......" “We’ve got a lot of season left to play,” Jackson said. “I don’t really care about that. I appreciate it, but like I said before, I want something better than that.” He leads.
  17. Definitely melt down mode. It's getting weird there. Fans think they should never have sat Tyrod Taylor until Baker was ready or beat him out of a job.
  18. I took today off knowing I'd be in no shape to work. BTW tsyl...you are really challenging the Board IQ with the Icaras reference......please consider our collective IQ.
  19. LOL!...
  20. The Ravens are at the halfway point. 6-2! The wins over the playoff Seahawks and Super Bowl Champs Patsies are huge. Instead of 6-2 they would be sitting 4-4 with the pre season anointed AFC Champion Browns and Steelers breathing down their necks. Remember...the Ravens were picked to be 3rd in the division. These were statement games and wins. Measuring sticks. What I saw the last 2 games was beyond my expectations. They will lose some games over the second half of the season due to parity and match ups, but they are in the drivers seat. Most importantly....let's hope they keep improving, the team stays healthy and hits the playoffs on a roll.
  21. Neither have I. The Ravens 2000 D was incredible and I knew I was watching greatness and history as that season progressed. We are watching greatness and something special once again. Pay attention.
  22. They are Contenders now. From far off in the past I could hear what Billick said to the 2000 Ravens; "Gentleman. Something specials going on here."
  23. "...and they were sent forth into the weeping and gnashing of teeth...."
  24. Everywhere that I read, this is the "Must See" game of the week. All of us know why. My war bloods up. I'll be at the game. We have work to do. " Arise, arise, Riders of Ravens! spear shall be shaken, shield shall be splintered, a sword-day, a red day, ere the sun rises! Ride now, Ride now, Ride! Ride for ruin and the world's ending! Death! Death! Death!"
