Truth! They may want to correct this philosophy. Then again, if you draft well and develop that talent, then you will always be up against the CAP if you try to keep that talent. They have to be very selective and avoid bad signings.

One positive from all of this is that the Trump move toward Dictatorship and a police state is helping to unite people. Not just in this country, but in many countries throughout the world....and us with them and them with us. Because there is a lot at stake for all people. People are taking a stand against what he stands for and his movement backward to a society, culture and government like post civil war America. The days of time, distance and humans living in isolation are long gone. As one human race, little by little, we are discovering that we need each other and there are values and a common vision for our future together that we need to move forward on. Some of this vision is being defined by recognizing what we don't want and joining together in protest. This is simply a small step, because there is so much hatred, racism, violence, greed and disregard for life existing on this planet. But with awareness comes change.

It wasn't really a hurry up offense. Here's what happened; The Miami LB's are so bad in coverage that the Ravens coaching staff couldn't miss seeing it on film. With trepidation, they took a huge risk and actually planed to exploit this. It worked and the Ravens offensive unit was so excited at completing passes that they forgot themselves and their obligatory slow lumbering trot to the line, and instead they actually hurried to the line. Guys were so wide open that even check down Joe couldn't miss seeing them.

That was the season in a nutshell. Whose jersey do you buy? I wanted to get one this year but the good players that are drafted and developed are lost in the bidding war of free agency. i wanted a Williams jersey but knew the Ravens would lose him this offseason. There is so much turnover on this team year to year and the amazing thing is....they just keep getting older.

When we talk about Joe, we are talking about the offense in general. It's a team sport. It takes a combination of units effectively doing their job to be potent. The best we saw was the 2012 playoff run. Joe had a reshuffled O line that gave him a pocket, gave him time and got the job done. The running game was respectable. He had a great hands, possession receiver in Boldin. In the red zone Boldin and Pita were a combination too potent for defenses to defend. He had a deep threat in Tory and when Jones was on the field, that made 2 threats for the safeties to worry about. All these cylinders, firing and executing in tandem, made Joe look "All World." He could do his thing. Fix the line, run game and develop the receiving corps. All will be well.

Keep Williams. This team must have a monster D to succeed. Then sign Guy and Juice together or sign Wagner because the game is won in the trenches.....should not hurt the cap too much.

Here's the point which I am sure is not good enough for you. If you are the best of 22, then you are in the playoffs! Then they are in and anything can happen. And I'm watching football in January! As a fan i don't expect them to win Super Bowls every year, but I want them to be competitive to the point that every Sunday they have a chance to win. If you have a team that is in the top 10 in points scored and points surrendered you have a good shot at going all the way. If one of the units is top 5 and the other in the top 10.....you're dangerous. GIVE ME DEFENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're just coming to that conclusion now?! But not much braintrust loss at all. They drafted Ogden, Ray, Boulware, Sharper, Starks. McAlister...a ton of good picks. They made a mistake passing on Brady too....like every other team did ...6 times. But it would have been nice to have Belecheat.....that's a lot of Super Bowls. it's probably best this way. Having Belecheat in Baltimore with all those Super Bowl Rings would be way too hurtful for Browns fans to handle.
