You can't win without solid O line play and this line was a shambles last year. Now it's up in the air if Monroe comes back. Will Osemele come back 100% strong and recovered? Will Yanda be 100%. Will Oher be back? This whole line is a huge question mark and this years season depends on it. Birk talks about chemistry. They can't establish any chemistry with this huge amount of possible turnover and injury questions. It will be basically a new unit.

There are people in the streets of Catonsville begging for milk, bread and toilet paper. It's getting bad.
-
He wants us to take a "Leap of Faith". Birk knows a thousand times more than I about playing center in the NFL. I hope the Ravens bring in strong competition...then we'll know for sure if it was Gino struggling with the mental aspect of the game and the shortage of talent around him or if he's a bust.

We're missing the high snow fall totals. It's going down to 4 or 8 degrees tonight with below zero wind chills so this snow isn't going away fast. People will start dropping dead from the lack of toilet paper.
-
It's not going over freezing all week so this snow is going to be around all week.
-
The storm heading our way is going to be real nasty. When it starts off as ice and then 8-12 inches of snow piles up on top on it, that spells power outages and terrible travel conditions. I swear...I think the North Pole has shifted our way. Hunker down and stay safe everybody.

He saw some action...don't know much about him...he's big....could develop into a solid player.
-
I like it.He's proven himself and the Ravens need a chain mover and redzone threat. I think he has 4 good years left in the tank. It helps this years draft too because the Ravens need O line help, a playmaking receiver, a runner, LB, safety, CB...they need some pieces.

I loved the Saturday night raids with Graveyard and Crav on the Titans board back in the days of the AFC Central.

One or both may be back at Ozzie's price. This is fair to them to let them go early before free agency starts 3/11. I still don't get having Leach but not using him. If they are not going to use him than yea...let him go. I still believe there is a place for a smash-mouth running game in today's NFL. You can humble a lot of defenses with it...especially with the "get smaller/faster trend" on lineman and linebackers of these times. I like it Old School.

That's just what this thread needed....a little more pizzazz! Now...can somebody please tie this all up and show proof beyond a reasonable doubt that everything here relates to Deonte Thompson? Dee...what drawer do we keep the pot and rolling papers in? No..no...no. Not that kind!

I want this guy. He's not bragging when he says this. It's the truth... West rushed for 2,509 yards and 42 total touchdowns last season and owns the school record with 86 career touchdowns. He finished with 4,584 career yards. Read more: http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bal-ravens-to-meet-with-terrance-west-tonight-20140221,0,331346.story#ixzz2uADjVmRw

On a physical development level, the thing about NFL players using alcohol and drugs is that it blocks them from getting in the kind of game shape that they need to be in. Alcohol is actually a poison. Ice cream and candy are legal, but you'll never convince me that it helps you to run faster and grow stronger. They need pure organic veggies, vitamins and minerals, proteins, and meat to take their bodies to the next level. The players who are in this zone separate themselves from the pack. You'll never convince me that being hungover or stoned makes you work out better and run faster. It doesn't improve your focus and concentration. Look what it did to McCalister. He could easily be going into the Hall of Fame but wasted his great physical gifts partying. He did not want to do the extra work. It's probably why Thompson has not been able to take that next step up in his game. Face it....the Ravens look like shit right now and will for a long time. Harbaugh has a big problem that his prayer groups can"t solve. There is way too much smoke so there must be a big fire. A fire so big that his team under performed last year. It looked like a large group not giving a shit and going through the motions.

Good point rm52. There's a lot to love about the rest of the team....just have to find a way to ignore Rice. This is entertainment and he's not entertaining anymore.

I can't believe that I feel like this, but I can't have pride in "My Team" with a woman beater on the field. His presence is a "stink" to me. A dark cloud on what should be a good and fun experience cheering for the Ravens. He's a bullying hypocrite. I'm a PSL holder. I want to cheer the Ravens and I can't cheer for him. Right now I don't know what I'll do, but getting rid of him would make me feel good about the Ravens. Keeping him makes me think and feel that they will compromise any moral standards to save money and win. If he was a practice squad player then how much time would it take for the Ravens to cut him? A minute???? He's meant a lot to the Ravens and the community. I do believe he's been a good character guy up until now. All of us have gone crazy and excited watching the great plays that he has made over the years. This is really sad and a bad situation. Maybe he needs a year off, counselling, other stuff in order to earn the right to wear that uniform again. I can't cheer for him...I don't want to see him on the field or in uniform.

Agree steel and rm52....

He should have a talk with Rob Burnett. He could have put up big numbers, but instead he played disciplined and made a big difference on the defense.
