He's not saying anything, but the impression I get is that he wants fair market value. My bet is that the Ravens will sign him....LB is not a position of strength on this team.

OK...we have a charge against him "striking her with his hand rendering her unconscious". We have a video of her tumbling out of and elevator face first...body totally limp. Ray tries to get her out of the elevator doorway....hence the dragging. This can be read many ways. I'm going with 2 at the moment. 1...It doesn't say "struck with fist" or beaten unconscious. Both parties may have been drunk...but she had to be drunk to be knocked unconscious by a hand slap. A hand slap is all it takes in some cases. So she's basically passed out and Ray's hauling her around the hotel trying to get to their room or wherever. It is very hard to move a limp body...a passed out drunk person. Probably a few of us here have had the experience of trying to move a passed out drunk friend to a car or from a car into their house or just dragging them and leaving them on their mothers front porch, ringing the doorbell and running...right crav? Who started it I don't know, but a man is always wrong to strike a woman unless he's under a serious attack IMO. Especially somebody young, healthy and very strong like Ray Rice. The nastiest lineman and linebackers in the NFL have been hitting him for years...he can take a blow. He can deliver a blow and when you know you can do that, then you let the woman live in her fantasy that she can beat you. I'd say Ray was drunk because sober, he knows better than to raise his hands against anyone unless under assault. 2. ...She wasn't drunk and he struck a hard knockout blow...and she's concussed. This is really bad. I'd cut him. But they both refused hospital treatment, There were no visible signs of physical trauma according to other reports.... so that leads me to learn more toward #1

I want to wait until the video leaks out, but right now he's not looking too good. I definitely think he has head problems. He's not the squeaky clean guy that he tried to make us believe he is.

It said on facebook that he tried to out run the police but was caught after 2.9 yards.

OK...that's the first domino. He learned from watching Ray. He's getting better money here than he would on the market and he wants to retire as a Raven. He's thinking of his legacy and he's thinking smart...and selflessly.
-
He's in a love-fest with himself.

For a DE or outside rush LB speed, especially that first step is their whole game. Once you lose that, basically you're done. That's what happened to Boulware and many others...one day your great, the next it's over. Suggs has lost that step and some upper body power. He's still solid, but he's not a playmaker. He can still cover and play the run...and getting 10 sacks last season is very good production, yet the truth remains: his production dropped of the second half of the season and he's been injured the last 2 years.

At ER, we strive for something higher than money....total spiritual shifting to a higher consciousness....should happen any day now.

It's not the only key, but it's a big one that Preston identifies. Once this domino falls the rest will go.

Yea man! Happy Birthday!

There's a ton of options at WR.....http://forums.extremeravens.com/topic/12720-ravens-insider-ravens-will-have-an-abundance-of-options-in-quest-to-find-another-wide-receiver/ As far as free agency, I wouldn't expect a big splash because of the money these guys will command. I see them getting a FA chain mover and a big WR in the draft.

Gary Kubiak: We’ve got to get Ray Rice going
vmax replied to papasmurfbell's topic in Baltimore Ravens
I've seen a few interviews with Kubiak and i like the guy. Now....it's a scary proposition to say "I think as he goes, we'll go." That has been the truth since Rice has been here but he's got a lot of mileage on him now. I'm very concerned that he can bounce back from injury and what's to say he doesn't get hurt early on? It shouldn't be hard for Kubiak to improve on this... -
Goodell made $44 mil.... I really feel like a sucker as they laugh all the way to the bank.

Ed's a good guy but this is just plain dumb. This is one expensive lesson but it's not as bad as all the NFL players that give large sums of money to questionable investment firms and end up with nothing.

Congratulations are in order for you too! Part of our plan was "How can we annoy posters and kill threads?" You have no idea how much time we spent setting the bait to get you over here. Finally you took it.

Good thing that you asked. We spend untold hours and very large amounts of money a week trying to figure out how we can remain a small and obscure site. Once a thread topic gets more than 2 replies we scramble to see how we can stop it. At the top of our agenda items this week we are currently deadlocked on the issue of warning posters if they post more than 2-3 posts a week. Half of us are leaning toward 2. Using the Ignore button on everybody is another action item.

Oh! So we have a devastating blizzard about to strike and ruin our homes and destroy our lives and minds and you're rubbing it in! Remind me when the next hurricane heads your way to not worry about you.

We'll call this the bathroom thread. If we lock it, then we'll just be cleaning up shit on the living room floor.

We're all still here...

Good point. They don't need projects. They need players. Big, nasty road grading MoFo's.
