Eisenberg's a good writer. Rice had a 1.4 ypc in the 1st half. Pierce .7 I've never seen such numbers from a Ravens team.
-
Yea...it seemed he brought in anybody from the Vikings and Harbaugh is doing the same with the Eagles.
-
I'm not sure wshat run game coordinator is rm52 but the Ravens could run and run block before he came here and got that position. If you can't do that then you can't win in the NFL. I don't like Moeller either...can him too. Maybe it's too many coaches here and the communication is for shit or they are working at cross purposes.

Here's Harbaugh's comments on his decisions. I disagree with him, but he is not why the Ravens lost the game IMO. There were other plays that were not made that hurt. If Doss get's his second foot down in the end zone that's 7 points. He had plenty of room to do it. If Webb doesn't let his man get behind him or the safety helps that's 7 the Packers don't get. If the D doesn't allow that long 3rd down reception on the Packers final drive the Ravens would have the ball back with plenty of time for a winning field goal. If the O line executed well, then the Ravens would have won by 35-19. But none of that happened and the Ravens lost.

Ditto. That's what I saw at the game. They were getting trough on Monroe and Oher too....the line is a sieve.

I agree. I'll add a few excuses to this too: Osemelle's back is affecting his performance and Yanda is not up to strength due to recovering from off season surgery so physically he does not have the punch and strength that he has when he's 100%. Monroe is new. I think Osemelee and Yanda over compensate for Gradkowski. But.....I don't like this Castillo guy. Harbaugh went to the Eagles well one too many times.

I am totally aware of your points and I agree...bone head decisions. Speaking of coaches, I was calling a run play on every 1st down and what hole they were going to run to. I was right about 80% of the time. If I can do that, then there isn't a defense or DC in the NFL who can't call it right 100% of the time. Caldwell's play calling is part of the problem too.....but he is definitely getting a lot out of the WR's. I've never seen Ravens WR's run so may different routes and come out of so many formations and packages. Caldwell is good for the O but his subordinates are fucking up the O line and run game. Something has to change here. because they can't fix it. Somebody will be gone by the Bye Week if not before. As long as the O line plays like they have been doing this is going to be a .500 team.

I'm never going to Dunkin Doughnuts again.

Cut him! He made me look bad!

I'm not happy with Harbaughs call to go for it on 4th and 1. 3 straight running plays got them what???...2 yards....on a day when it was apparent the O line was getting man handled....punked...? I said to my brother, "On a day like this where points are at a premium, you take the 3." Later Joe gets blind sided and fumbles and it's a 3 point gift before the half. There is one common denominator in this: The O line. They lost the game. The D was spectacular. Special Teams played great except for a few poor punts by Koch. We saw Jones, Doss, Brown and Clark make big plays. We know Rice and Pierce can run....and Joe is damn good. NOTHING ON 1st and 2nd down. Always 3rd and long. AND LONGER WITH THE PENALTIES. Sorry about the Caps...I'm pissed off. I'm going to use Caps one last time here.... THE OFFENSIVE LINE CAN NOT RUN BLOCK OR OPEN A RUNNING LANE AND THEY CAN NOT PASS PROTECT. Please tell me how that is Flacco's fault or Harbaughs?

That fan base is one huge bunch of LOSERS. Ed Reed might want to get out of there....he made a mistake.

I'm starting a new one today. Went to Dunkin Doughnuts and got a Ravens Nation doughnut.

I'm still feeling a Ravens win today. I see it going like the Maryland game yesterday. Not a masterpiece but....you know...a typical Ravens win so there will be some ugly in this.

Fortunately, the Ravens won't need him today.

Ravens Insider: Eugene Monroe set to start Sunday against Packers
vmax replied to ExtremeRavens's topic in News Feeds
I hope this is the beginning for Monroe to a great career at LT for the Ravens. -

Ravens by 1...that's as good as I can get. The Ravens play great at home, the defense has more sacks at this point in the year than ever in their history, and I have that feeling the offense will show up against a weak Packers secondary and no Mathews. For the Packers...they are high scoring but Rogers has thrown for about the same amount of yards as Joe. Their receivers are finding the end zone. The Ravens secondary's challenge is to hit and tackle them when they catch the ball and not let them get behind them. With the pass rush, that should lower the Packer point production below their season average. The Packers are having a great year running the ball. It's a big part of what they do. I like the Ravens front 7 to shut that door. I don't expect the Ravens to run well this week. The Packers are built to stop the run. The 12th man tips the scales.

One whole month on this is too much. One well done week to raise awareness and funds is perfect. That leaves time for other causes. I'd like doing a different cause each week. For example one week a year is the food drive. It feels good for me to go to a game and be able to contribute in some way to helping those in need. I heard 40% of the fans are women. Excuse me for thinking the NFL ha$ other motives. My opinion on the integrity of this league has been taking a hit the last 5 years. I believe that they capitalize on patriotism. Nevertheless it's important to me to take a moment to hear the Star Spangled Banner. I grew up with it and honor not only our military past and present, but our Nation as a whole. If prostrate cancer ever becomes important, they will capitalize on that. I must say this to be fair: Congratulations to the teams like the Ravens and their coaches and players who selflessly give so much to the community. They are powers of example. Pure, selfless service. It is inspiring. There are a lot of excellent people in the NFL.

The Ravens are paying for drafting and developing players well. It's all part of parity. The better you do, the higher the penalty. Outstanding players demand outstanding contracts and outstanding teams draft late and get harder schedules. This is the world that GM's have to navigate when trying to figure out how to field the best team possible and win consistently. So yes...Joe's contract has team cap implications. Same for other players mentioned above. Clayton writes about this today....
