Basically it's hard to remember a time when the Ravens were respected. Being a Defensive minded team for so long is not sexy. My hat's off to Berman for picking the Ravens to win it all last year. He stuck with it publically. The media respects the Ravens management and organization. This last SB win made it hard to ignore the winning tradition here. Respect is hard to see, but you can bet not 1 team on the Ravens schedule is taking them lightly. The Ravens are getting everybody's best game.

It will be nice watching Pita catching TD passes in the playoffs.

This has been 4 flat tires for the offense in the first quarter. Penalties. They start out 1st and 15...1st and 20.... They start so slow and uninspired. It's like the 1st quarter isn't a game. It's just time to get warmed up.

It's the end of the first quarter of the NFL regular season and in total yards the Ravens offense is 27th and the defense is 15th. In a more important stat, the offense is 15th in points scored and the D is 15th in points surrendered. The running game is 28th! That won't get you to the playoffs. They are a legitimate .500 team. As fans, we are looking for anything positive that says this season can be salvaged. A win tomorrow and I'm in the Half Full Camp. If they play tomorrow in Miami like they did in Buffalo then my experience as a fan says the tank is Half Empty and it's going to be a long disappointing year. A .500 year. It's real hard to say that because there is a lot of very talented players on this 2013 roster but so far they are not gelling as a team. It's going to be a very telling game tomorrow.

Thompson, Brown, Jones and Smith....that should be plenty for Joe to work with....but he has to have a running game. Then defenses have to defend the whole field.

The Cosmic question is: Why are we still watching this?
