  1. Jamison Hensley on Twitter “There were five Ravens players absent from media viewing of Thursday’s practice QB Lamar Jackson (knee) G Kevin Zeitler (knee) CB Marcus Peters (rest) OL Trystan Colon (personal) CB Daryl Worley (hamstring) Also, RB J.K Dobbins and S Marcus Williams continue to practice.” I think we'll see Williams. Not so sure on JK. This is good....
  2. The Ravens can sign both. Sign Smith. Make it a small cap hit in 2023. Lamar will win a SB. Here or elsewhere. The Ravens got lucky drafting a QB twice in 26 years. Beware the Klye Bollars of Yesteryear!
  3. I want to sign him. If not, then franchise him. At least we'll get 2 1st rounders. The Ravens are a 6-11 team without him at best.
  4. Almost the whole O line is missing... well Queen and Stanley are back. Jamison Hensley on Twitter “Ravens practice report (Wednesday) Absent during media viewing: QB Lamar Jackson WR Devin Duvernay CB Marcus Peters OLB Justin Houston G Kevin Zeitler OT Morgan Moses OL Trystan Colon OL Patrick Mekari DE Calais Campbell CB D.Worley Returned OT Ronnie Stanley LB Patrick Queen”
  5. Oh definitely time for revenge. Steelers are favored. My biggest question concerns the OC and DC: Will they have a solid game plan? Will they be able to adapt during the game? Adam Schefter · Ravens’ QB Lamar Jackson suffered a sprained PCL during Sunday’s win over the Denver Broncos, per league sources. PCL injuries often sideline players 1-to-3 weeks and Ravens’ HC John Harbaugh already has said Jackson is “less likely” to play Sunday vs. the Steelers.
  6. This is a must win game for both teams. The Ravens need to keep pace with the Bengals who are getting hot. The 5-7 Steelers are desperate to salvage their season, avoid a losing season and stay in the hunt. It's a division game. Both franchises hate each other. So what better way to kick off this Christmas season than in the spirit of Brotherly Hate. Baltimore Ravens NAME, POS STATUS DATE Kristian Welch, LB Questionable Dec 4 Lamar Jackson, QB Questionable Dec 5 Patrick Queen, LB Questionable Dec 5 Del'Shawn Phillips, LB Questionable Dec 6 Ronnie Stanley, OT Questionable Dec 6 Let's see if the Ravens backup quarterback Tyler Huntley will outshine Pittsburgh's Kenny Pickett (4TD's and 7 INT's). Tomlin swears Picket is their QB of the future. Huntley started in the final game of last season which the Steelers won 16 to 13 and over time. He had a bad game. He was 16-of-31 for 141 yds, 2 INTs and a fumble. He rushed 12 times for 72 yds. But then again he had a bad offense of line . He had a defense that was manned by Uber drivers who Wink Martindale found in the deep recesses of the night. The rushing attack was there. With some 'way past their prime' running backs, the Ravens ran over the Steelers averaging 6.9 yards per carry for 249 yards. the Steelers averaged 2.6 yards per carry and shouldn't do much better this week. Meanwhile, the Steelers best offense of weapon George Pickens is wasting away. He needs a QB who can find him. What do you think? Another 10-9 game???? 2022 SEASON STRE 2022 SEASON
  7. He's in year 5. All year 5 players start to break down some. It ill be hard for him to get the guaranteed money that he wants.
  8. Jamison Hensley — Today at 9:47 AM A look at final 5 games for Ravens and Bengals: RAVENS @ PIT (5-7) @ CLE (5-7) vs. ATL (5-8) vs. PIT (5-7) @ CIN (8-4) BENGALS vs. CLE (5-7) @ TB (5-6) @ NE (6-6) vs. BUF (9-3) vs. BAL (8-4) Right now, for me, there's no doubt that the Bengals are trending up into a playoff contender and the Ravens are trending down. Jamison Hensley — Today at 9:28 AM With five weeks remaining, here is how ESPN's Football Power Index projects the AFC North's top two teams: Reach playoffs Ravens: 95.7% Bengals: 92.8% Win division Ravens: 66.5% Bengals: 32.7% You know who's next.....
  9. I've seen enough. Week 14 coming up. The Ravens have too many good players to be executing like this. Roman has to go. Harbaugh needs to have a serious talk with Macdonald about what the hell he's doing at times. The D played well yesterday except for a few times. This "bend don't break" shit killed us in the Jaguars game and they almost lost yesterday because of it. It took the Broncos 26 seconds to go down the field from their 18 and get in FG range. Sorry! Not acceptable! Eric needs to talk with Harbaugh about his plan to save a sinking ship. Baltimore Ravens Offense....
  10. Ravens (8-4) Bengals (8-4) Browns (5-7) Steelers (5-7) AFC North went 4-0 on Sunday.
  11. 8-4. Unreal. Last 4 minutes were great. I don't know what to call the first 56 minutes. Stadium was 3/4's fulll. End of 1st half the Ravens had thrown 18 times and run 9. 4.4 yards per pass. Who's calling this shit? The Bronco D was faster, more physical and more disciplined. They are the leagues best. You don't run east/west vs fast LB's like that. You run right at them. Faalele was lost on back to back plays when he gave up the sack.... but he didn't look any worse than Orlando Brown does tonight. The O line can not run block. Drake played his ass off for minimal gain. We need Stanley, JK, Gus, and Marcus Williams next week. Get Ojabo some snaps because the Ravens front 7 could not get pressure on Wilson and that's against the worst O line in the league. Humphrey and Peters played hard. JPP was surprising at how well he played all over the field. I'll have to watch the film because it's hard to believe they only scored 3 points until the last 28 seconds. 10-9. Vs the lowly Broncos.
  12. Steve's has done and knows all that.
  13. From what I know Stanley, Humphry and Hamilton are listed as questionable. I'm ok with the Ravens sitting them and giving them another week to heal or at least have them on a snap count. I think they can handle the Bronco's. The Broncos will be without 3 of their WR's: Jeudy, Sutton and Hamler. I'm not too worried. I expect to be smoking a victory cigar. From the Sun: Since trading away star outside linebacker Bradley Chubb on Nov. 1, Denver has graded out as the NFL’s worst team, according to Football Outsiders’ efficiency metrics, with a 29th-ranked offense, 27th-ranked defense and 32nd-ranked special teams. From the Sun: With another shutdown day, the Ravens could set a modern-era NFL record for the most consecutive games in which a defense has held an opponent to fewer than 50 rushing yards (five). We will be putting up the tree today in the Rec room...
  14. 2. Baltimore, MD Notorious for its extremely high crime rates compared to the national average, Baltimore also ranks as the 23rd most dangerous city in the world, with 51 homicides per 100,000 population. As in most cities in the U.S., within the city, several specific neighborhoods, ridden with poverty, drug gang activity, and violence, have the highest concentration of crime. Historically, West Baltimore has seen the most crime problems. However, in 2016, the Coldstream Homestead Montebello neighborhood in Northeast Baltimore became the deadliest neighborhood. One in every two shootings was fatal, compared to the city average of one in three. The record homicide rate was set in 2015 when Baltimore had the highest homicide rate in its history – 52.5 per 100,000 people or 344 homicides. Of those, the vast majority, or 321 (93.3%) of the victims, were African-American. Poverty and organized crime have been responsible for a lot of the violence in the city. Still, another major problem for authorities in recent years has been drug use. According to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), 10% of Baltimore’s population is addicted to heroin. 4 Of The Most Dangerous Cities Are In The U.S. (msn.com) I only go into Baltimore for Ravens games.
  15. Jamison Hensley • — Today at 12:06 PM Lamar Jackson (quad) was practicing on Friday. He was a full participant Thursday after being limited Wednesday.CB Marcus Peters returned after 2 rest days. There were 4 Ravens not present during media viewing: Ronnie Stanley Tylan Wallace Del’Shawn Phillips Jason Pierre-Paul AFC Standings – Week 13 Kansas City Chiefs (9-2) Buffalo Bills (9-3) Tennessee Titans (7-4) Baltimore Ravens (7-4) Miami Dolphins (8-3) Cincinnati Bengals (7-4) New York Jets (7-4) In the Hunt: Los Angeles Chargers (6-5) New England Patriots (6-6) Indianapolis Colts (4-7-1)
  16. 6 games to right this ship that has been taking on water. 6 games for Lamar to prove he deserves the big pay day. 6 games to learn if this 2022 Ravens squad is a Contender or a Pretender. 4 of the games are 'in division' games which are generally hard fought because the teams know and hate each other. So it's not as much of a cream puff schedule as it's been made out to be. The Bengals are hot winning their last 3 in a row. The Browns and Steelers won and still think they are in the hunt. Broncos here, @Steelers, @ Browns, Falcons here, Steelers here and close out at the Bengals. It's not Murderers Row. I hear if the Ravens split their 4 division games then they'll make the playoffs. If that happens then they make it as Pretenders. [11:11 AM] This 2022 Ravens team has to find themselves now.
  17. Good stuff on Peters: "Doubting himself this season: "I'm stuck in this situation of I'm second-guessing myself. I circle the right answer every time, and then I go back, and erase it, and double-check it to see if I got the right answer. For me, I just know I got more, so it's just kind of ... I don't know. Self-doubt is realer than a b----." Being a free agent after this season: "I want to stay. I think that it'll be the best thing for me to end up here. So I wouldn't go nowhere else, but I ain't tripping. I'm really trying to just focus on winning this year, bro, and I'm going to take the offseason as it comes. If we get some things done, and it works out for both sides, then I'm going to knock it out." Marcus Peters Opens Up About Self-Doubt and His Future (baltimoreravens.com)
  18. I hit bottom on Roman when they were tied 3-3 with the Panthers going into the 4th quarter. He's failed to develop Lamar as a passer. He's failed at developing receivers. He's failed at developing a passing offense. This is the worst when you consider all teams stack the box and there's no excuse for not making them pay by burning with the pass. He's failed as a play caller in the passing attack. He never evolved. What good does it do you to average 162 yards rushing per game, which is very good, and only throw for 193? Which is poor. In their best season under Roman they threw for 201 yards per game. Lamar's MVP year! Ravens passing attack was last in 2020 at 170 yards per game. There's been no improvement. Lamar is not getting the coaching development that he needs. These assistant coaches either are not getting it done or Roman is not listening to them. It's time to send him.... Jamison Hensley • TweetShift BOT — Today at 3:25 PM John Harbaugh confirmed Ravens OC Greg Roman was contacted about the opening for the Stanford job. Harbaugh believes it’s “preliminar
  19. Check this out...... " But following Sunday’s 28-27 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, Harbaugh likely experienced deja vu after hearing comments Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson made to MMQB’s Albert Breer. “We knew specifically how Baltimore was going to align to that formation and that type of play,” Pederson admitted. “And [Trevor Lawrence] was able to take that — and that's just a little thing — but he was able to take that from practice and throw a great pass to JaMycal (Hasty), who caught it and ran it in for that first touchdown.” Pederson disclosed that the Jaguars ran that specific play several times during practice, explicitly for the Ravens defense.
  20. The Broncos have the #3 defense in points surrendered per game @ 17.6. Their D is #3 in yards surrendered at 306.4 per game. They are tough. Especially because they get no help from the O. Yanda gets inducted into the Ravens Ring of Honor at halftime. This is OT but we need something to cheer about on a rainy day ... ... FYI: 3. (AFC North Champion) Ravens Despite the Ravens' shocking loss to Jacksonville, the computer still thinks Baltimore is going to win the AFC North. The Ravens have two big things working to their advantage. The first one is that they have the second-easiest remaining strength of schedule with their opponents having a combined winning percentage of just .403 (The Bengals have the fourth-most difficult at .591). The second thing is that the Ravens are 2-0 in the division. If Baltimore goes just 2-2 in their final four division games, that will clinch the divisional tiebreaker and if that happens, the Bengals will have to finish one full game ahead of the Ravens to win the AFC North title. As things stand now, the computer is giving the Ravens a 74% chance of winning the division, which is way ahead of the Bengals (21.7%).
