  1. 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 6th round picks as it stands. We are expecting to get 2 4ths, a 5th and a 6th or 7th round picks as compensation picks. We traded 4th and 5th for Monroe and a 7th for Shipley.
  2. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner. Even if it had been 2 beat writer's stories, Byrne's story sounds way more plausible than Fatties.
  3. Would rather have Morgan Moses in the 2nd or one of the two guards that went straight after our pick.
  4. RFA Tenders: Level 1: 1,389,150 $ (Right of First Refusal) Level 2: 1,389,150 $ or 110% of 2013 salary (Original Round Pick) Level 3: 2,124,242 $ or 110% of 2013 salary (Second Round Pick) Level 4: 3,022,559 $ or 110% of 2013 salary (First Round Pick) 2014 Exclusive Rights Free Agent tender: 420,000 $ (0 accrued season) 495,000 $ (1 accrued season) 570,000 $ (2 accrued seasons)
  5. Mack won't be there at 17. He is a top ten talent.
  6. TE Dallas Clark (Probably gone, but they might offer vet minimum to insure we have some depth going into the draft) NT Terrence Cody (Probably gone unless it's a vet minimum cheap deal) TE Ed Dickson (Gone - hands of stone and couldn't step up when Pitta went down) CB Corey Graham (Allow him to test the market but regardless would need to be a cheap deal for him to return) SS James Ihedigbo (Tough one here. Probably allow him to test the market with a cheap deal offered for him to return) DE Arthur Jones (Try and resign but my guess is it will be too expensive and the Ravens have some depth along the D-Line and have a draft pick from last year ready to go in Kapron Lewis Moore) WR Jacoby Jones (Try and resign but probably will be too expensive. Let him test the market and then decide on making an offer to match) S Jeromy Miles (Special teams player - vet minimum offer) T Eugene Monroe (I think he is resigned before he hits FA but I think he ends up on the Ravens regardless) T Michael Oher (Gone - He probably signs a deal with a team before FA officially opens and gets called for a false start!) TE Dennis Pitta (Must resign him or at worst franchise him. He won't see the open market whatever way it goes down) RB Bernard Scott (Gone) LB Daryl Smith (After Pitta and Monroe he should be the next priority) WR Tandon Doss (RFA) (Offer the low tender as if we lose Jacoby at least Doss can cover some kick return duties) Level 2 Tender $1,389,150 (4th round pick as compensation) LB Albert McClellan (RFA) (Probably will be offered the low tender for his depth and special teams) Level 1 Tender $1,389,150 S Omar Brown (ERFA) (Resigned) $570,000 LB D.J. Bryant (ERFA) (Resigned) $570,000 LB Josh Bynes (ERFA) (Resigned) $570,000 LB Adrian Hamilton (ERFA) (Resigned) $570,000 S Anthony Levine (ERFA) (Resigned) $570,000 S Brynden Trawick (ERFA) (Resigned) $495,000 RFA Tenders = $2,778,300 ERFA Tenders = $3,345,000 So that would only leave about $5.8m of cap space. Perhaps some of those RFA Tenders don't get offered and Doss and McClellan get offered vet minimum salaries instead which will be about $645,000 for a 3 year Vet. which would save about $1.5m on the cap providing a total of $7.3m of cap space. Not a lot but trading/cutting Suggs turns that into $14.8m of cap space which should be enough to get Pitta and Munroe done plus maybe some other FA.
  7. Cold and Windy + Manning is due his annual shit the bed in the playoffs performance = Seahawks Win. Go Hawks! Fight on Coach Carroll!
  8. It was Kyle not Mike. He was an OC with the Texans and then Redskins.
  9. He smiled once at the big girl that served him at his nearest Dunkin' and now he gets all his donuts for free. Why would he leave?
  10. F this. I'm going back into the Broken Record thread. It's much more fun.
  11. LMAO, Anyone else seeing Rasta in the backrow with an exasperated look on his face?
  12. Hakeem Nicks is an interesting name to me. Could fit the bill of the right player at the right price. He is a physical receiver that could offer something different to the rest our receiving core not unlike what Boldin offered. He isn't a number 1 but would be a nice compliment to Smith.
  13. ^LMFAO.
  14. I have no problem with guys that write opinion pieces. What I don't like is guys that try to justify their opinions with incorrect facts. But I learned the best way to not be bothered by his fantasy world is to no longer read anything he does. My Ravens world is now a better place.
  15. There are 2 types of receiver that would fit the Ravens in this draft. Evans and Matthews are the big bodies that seem to come down with the ball every time it's thrown to them. The other type is the lightning bugs that you get the ball to as quick as possible and let them do their thing. Guys like Lee from USC and Cooks from Oregon State would fit this type of receiver. I don't mind which we get as we might potentially have guys that can fill the other role already on the roster. Brown for the big body spot and Deonte Thompson for the other spot (if he could ever stay healthy).
  16. It's a shame, because when he checks his ego at the door, he is actually capable of writing some decent articles. It's a shame that most of his crap is dripping with his hatred for parts of the organization.
  17. Was the Boldin decision the correct decision at the time? I believe so. We needed the $ to rebuild the defense and we felt we had good young receivers for Joe to throw to. Now with hindsight, the decision looks bad because most of the D players that were signed except for Smith and Dumervil were busts and the offense was crap with a combination of bad line play, bad QB play and crap game plans and a few key injuries such as Pitta. The 6th round pick we received was not a pittance. They weren't going to get anything more from anyone as the talk was Boldin would be released. Getting a pick was actually a good thing. Overall the decision looks like crap because Boldin had a good year. Would he have had a good year here as well? Hard to tell with the aforementioned crap play. Boldin also played with somewhat of a chip on his shoulder this season as well. As in he wanted to show the world the Ravens were wrong. I think he did a good job. Would he have been as motivated here after winning a Superbowl? What would have happened if Joe wasn't throwing him the ball and we were losing? He was vocal enough that it could have become a distraction. A lot of what ifs. We also face another similar decision with Suggs. Hopefully we get it right.
  18. All teams were warned about it the week before Tomlin did it. That is the same reason the Saints got punished for Bountygate. All teams were warned the offseason prior to the Saints Bounty scheme for that season was revealed.
  19. With how deep this draft is in WRs and OTs I think we should be able to pick up 1 of each in the first 2 rounds and be happy with what we got. Then we can look at interior O-Linemen in the 3rd onwards. We should be able to get some good players at each pick in the 1st and 2nd. Lets just hope Ozzie doesn't shit the bed and go small school O-Linemen that need developing and instead picks some guys that have proven they can play.
  20. He might if he rapes the wrong hillbillies sister!
  21. Or maybe they saw what happened to guys like Pollard, Reed etc. that spoke out about coaches so they kept their mouths shut and went to work!
  22. It doesn't wipe out any carry over. If you restructure you are converting salary into a signing bonus. That signing bonus is due on the cap at some point. It doesn't ever disappear even with a new deal. You still have to account for it on the cap. I hope you do extend him and then keep restructuring every year after that because at some point in the next couple of years he is going to go Steve McNair on you and then your cap fucked and you don't have a franchise QB.
  23. I laughed when I saw the pic but I still feel bad for the guy. That looked nasty. So the answer to your question Papa, is kind of funny, kind of an ahole move. What's insulting to some is a joke to others. I would rather laugh than feel insulted so I will go with kind of funny.
  24. The group has already changed max. They blamed it all on the RB coach and fired him.
