I thought I read Carr was looking for $5mill a year! Also read that the Ravens supposedly didn't even offer Wilson and that him being 2nd in line to Yanda on the list of the Ravens FA priorities was only a smokescreen for something else. Does that mean Asomugha? Probably not, but it would be nice.

I have been using the app for a while but it is very hit and miss when travelling due to the poor 3G signal received in some areas.

They both should definitely grow moustaches like those.

The 8 I wish to keep and what I think we will realistically keep are a lot different so I will go with who I think we will keep. Le’Ron McClain, FB Jalen Parmele, RB Marshal Yanda, G Chris Chester, C Jameel McClain, ILB Chris Carr, CB Tom Zbikowski, S Haruki Nakamura, S I think Carr will be cheaper than Wilson which means Wilson is likely gone even though I thought he did really well for us last season. Unfortunately we keep Chester as I don't think there will be much interior O-Line help in free agency. I could see Parmele being kept and then cut in training camp if the rookie impresses.

No Rapture. Here's the reason we're all still here today.

Sam and Dean Winchester saved us from the Rapture. Don't you watch that news show on CW? I think it is called Supernatural. -
You should tweet that to Rashard Mendenhall and see what priceless comments he has for us on the subject.

F Him, it should be pronounced Cheeky!

That Bin Laden was a great person and we should all mourn his death (or words to that effect)

The league banned the use of any colour on the field except for green which is a pity as I love this pic: It would look even better with black endzones.

If we go O-Line or pass rusher with the 1st then I like Dowling in the 2nd although we don't have much luck with 2nd round picks and injuries and Dowling has an injury history hence he could be available 2nd - 3rd round. The other 2 guys I like at where they are predicted to go.

I like Smith's size and speed and wouldn't be disappointed at this stage if we take him. I'm sure that Ozzie will get all the info he needs on Smith from an interview especially if we bring him in for a pre draft workout. That said, I really want us to look more at the pass rush. I like what we have at CB especially if Wilson and Carr both resign and Foxy returns healthy. I think we can rely on a secondary with them 3, Webb and Williams at CB. I absolutely believe that a pass rusher will help this team more than a CB and I am really high on Justin Houston at this point. The other guys I like I don't believe will be around at 26. Houston gives us another Suggs like player and that is what we need. Someone who can put their hand in the dirt on obvious passing downs or line up at OLB in a 3-4 and he has already played both spots so it is not hard to project him to the NFL. At the moment I can also see us taking an OT or DE (A guy that can play 3-4DE or 4-3DE) in the 1st if Smith or Houston are already off the board. Someone will fall to us that I like. In the 2nd there should again be some interesting pass rushers like Sam Acho from Texas or a WR like Young or Hankerson that could provide an injection of youth and speed into the WR corps. There may be an interior lineman available in the 2nd as well like Wisniewski from Penn State that could be our C for the next 10 years. Projecting any further than this is really hard to do as it will depend on how the 1st 2 rounds turn out.

That was a nice takedown at the 1.45 mark.

Our vehicles are a lot more fuel efficient than the US. My car will do about 50 miles to the gallon combined and that is to the US gallon (approx. 3.78 litres) not the imperial gallon (approx. 4.55 litres). Our government gets 175% of the price of fuel in duty and taxes. Bastards.....

He would be the sort of player I would consider if we traded back in the draft and receive an early 2nd round pick. If we could rob the Broncos again that would be great.
-
Before the combine Helu was seen as a 4th to 5th round pick. Now he is being mentioned as a late 2nd to early 4th. If he is there in the 4th he would be a great pick and the perfect compliment to Rice. I wouldn't touch Fannin until the 7th but someone will overdraft his speed.
-
If JJ Watt isn't avilable in the 1st then I would prefer to get Justin Houston. If any of the 2nd round picks are available when we pick I will be happy. I'm not sure that Cannon or Moch make it to the 3rd round and it might be a bit early for Rojo. I think Acho will be long gone by the 4th. I think Deunta Williams will be gone by the 4th but like the pick. Gates would be a great pick up in the 7th.

You guys are lucky. Gas costs about $8.30 a gallon where I am from.

A FA that Ravens should try to sign before the lockout
RavenMad replied to papasmurfbell's topic in Baltimore Ravens
I heard he was cut so that they could resign him long term to get round the current salary rules. We could probably have done something like this to get Ngata signed. Besides that, Hawk is not a pass rusher. We would still need pass rush help early in the draft. Signing Hawk would mean that we wouldn't need to go after someone like Casey Matthews in the 3rd round. -
Crav, I think Von Miller is going to be a top 10 pick. The guys I am looking at for our 1st pick are Justin Houston or 1 of JJ Watt, Adrian Clayborn or Cameron Heyward. My dream pick right now is JJ Watt but I think he will be gone by the time we pick. I like Baldwin the big WR but I just think there is better value on D in this draft and that is where we should stock up on unless 1 of the 2nd tier WRs fall to us in the 2nd round like a Titus Young or Hankerson from Miami.

If cutting Joe loose means allowing him to change things at the line of scrimmage then I am all for it. Too many times it looked as though his hands were tied by Cam. Giving Joe more responsibility and accountability can only be a good thing for his development.

All I WATT for Christmas is JJ.
-
The guy I would love the most with our 1st round pick is JJ Watt. I watched him a lot during the season and he always stood out on that Wisconsin D. He is everything that they wish Kruger could be but JJ Watt is there already. The perfect do it all 3-4 DE.

Rumors abound that Sandra is being brought in as the new O-Line coach.
-
Thanks for these Papa. Keep up the good work. As much as I like Julio Jones in the 1st, I hate the 2nd round pick just as much. Anyway, I expect Julio to be a top 10 to top 15 pick unless he does something stupid like go on a crime spree between now and the draft or goes to the Dez Bryant school of draft preparation. As for the 2nd mock from mockingthedraft, I really like it. We do need a pass rusher but O-Line is just as important. I also really like Hankerson and see a bit of TO without the drama in him.
-
I also wouldn't give him more than a 2-3 year deal. Let him prove that he is an elite LT and earn the right to be paid as one in a couple of years.
