varaven45 Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 With Doss's big splash on Sunday, does Harbaugh give him more reps with the offense ? With Jacoby Jones out and preoccupied with strippers and booze and Bryant McKinney, maybe Doss gets a shot at redemption. Maybe that punt return gave him a big confidence boost . Does he get a few more reps witht the offense ? . Quote
GrubberRaven Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 He was in on the play that got called for PI 1 Quote
tgann68 Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Sometimes a chance and some success is all it takes. He has had his struggles but they kept him around for the past couple of years because of potential. Now his potential is turning into production and with JJones out with a knee,Thompson out,he may have won a spot and time. Add his success last week against the Texans and it would not be too far fetched to think he get much more playing time. If he keeps playing like that i'm all for it. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 He might be like Jones. A really good return man but marginal WR. Quote
varaven45 Posted September 24, 2013 Author Posted September 24, 2013 Yep. Like JJ sans the debauchery Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 That party wasn't the worst thing in the world. There are far worse things that players have done in the last 6 months than going to a party with a stripper. Quote
oldno82 Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 I say Tandon deserves a second chance at WR. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 I wouldn't say never put him out at WR but just don't expect the world. If he does great then so be it. 1 Quote

True but these aren't exactly team builders for a team lacking/seeking identity, chemistry and character. Not exactly making Harbaugh's job any easier in a year of transition. Quote
colincac Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 IMO Doss always lacked confidence in his own ability to succeed at the NFL level, so I really hope that PR was the boost he needed. We'll see if it bears out. 1 Quote

I can't see how the league can try to suspend anyone. Nobody is dead. Nobody is being sought criminally. Everyone can move all their appendages propperly. Quote
Oldschool739 Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 JJ may get suspended anyway and McKinney too for that matter....McKinney is a repeat offender , I don't know if the league will enforce this one but Harbs just might... Goooo Ravens !!!! Quote

If any punishment is handed down it wll be by the team, the smart thing, nobody was driving, they rented the bus.And stripping isnt illegal, so I dont see a punishment handed out by the NFL Quote

Players have been punished for being arrested even though they were found not guilty, the league tries to protect their own company image and don't care who has to take the fall.... I think the team will issue fines or punishment, but the league will be leaning on them to do so or else.... Goooo Ravens !!!! Quote
GrubberRaven Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 Jones is actually featured in the McD's commercials with Flacco and Kap...wonder if that will change. The girl has come out and said she's a waitress, fyi Quote

As I said above max, it doesn't have to be a criminal act for the NFL to penalize a player, and my understanding is that Biscuit hired the bus to take them to and from the party so they wouldn't get in any trouble, but those idiots found a way to embarrass him anyway.....I'd fine the bajeebies out of them to set them straight....Especially McKinney, remember his porn boat tour when in Minny ? Goooo Ravens !!!! Quote
