cravnravn Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Why not just keep throwing the short stuff?Bingo
Robjr83 Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 That's more on Joe throwing into double coverage. Torrey also being soft and not wanting to fight for it. The O put up 30+ and couldn't get it down. I'm still proud of my team. A rebuilt secondary and this team can win next year.

dc. Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Wish we could rewatch all those scrambles and see our receivers (and their dbs)... Just doesn't add up. But when you put up 31, it's hard to blame the O.
thundercleetz Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Torrey smith: the gift and the curseAt first I thought Torrey should have jumped for that ball. It looked catchable to me. However a friend told me he popped up gimpy after the play. He may have hurt his hamstring with is why he didn't fight for the ball.
varaven45 Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Yep. We just lost to a better team and a HOF QB and Coach. We overachieved and exceeded everyone's expectations. Kudos ravens !!!
thundercleetz Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 This team is on the upswing. A couple of corners and we're set.
varaven45 Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Yep. Nobody gave us much of a shot, esp after Rice debacle. Still, our guys showed grit, guts and toughness all year. They were 1 or 2 plays from upsetting a superior team in their house. As a fan, it's hard to fell anything but pride and good feelings about this organization and team.
Spen Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 I thought they played pretty well so I dont want to blame anyone too much but the problems with the secondary really hurt.
vmax Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Amazing run this season.Think about it...no Pita, Webb wrecks his back...Rice craps out...lose Jimmy Smith...Wager goes down..Monroe's out....and then everybody in the secondary goes down multiple times and the mad scramble to patch something together because the games keep coming up every Sunday. This 2014 Ravens team should hold their heads high. Thank You Ravens! 1
papasmurfbell Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 OK The D struggled and there isn't much you can do about that with the personnel. ST's was OK but stop running Webby out for PR's.Offense during the 1st have was so close to perfect it was breathtaking. The OL played almost perfectly. Justin was excellent. Flacco for the first 2 drives was on fire like NBA Jam from back in the day. Then he got a little rocky but then was carving them up. Those 2 picks were inexcusable though. The one that McCourty grabbed should never have been thrown. If you son't see the safety fading that side you are blind. There had to be a single coverage somewhere. On the last pick Joe was just inaccurate. The ball was thrown 3 yds to far to the right. Had it been thrown to Torrey's left shoulder it could not have been picked off. On a side note. After last night let Torrey walk. His hot head BS is uncalled for. He has been a bit of an whole the last few weeks. I don't get where this comes from but taking your team from a 1st and goal at the 1 to the 16 is completely unprofessional.
