vmax Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 (edited) At Cincy...where the Ravens...and Joe...suck.I'm worried about this one. Worried about the O line keeping Joe upright and their ability to establish the run.Worried about Jefferson and Weddle's coverage skills....and can the linebackers cover? Then again, Dalton can't do much laying on his back. Whoever makes 2-3 big plays wins. Edited September 11, 2018 by vmax Quote
tsylvester Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Short week coming off a blow out win, in Cinci where as you said, they rarely play well... This could be real ugly... Thankfully, I will be asleep. Quote
varaven45 Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Agreed. Big blowout win against weak Buffalo opponent, Marvin seems to have Harbs #, and Joe always seems to have problems w Cincy D.Dont know our secondary can shut down AJ Green. Plus its at Cincy. Lots to overcome on this on. Tough, tough ballgame but we'll see ! Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Joe doesn't deal with a cover 2 well. Quote
GrubberRaven Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 #Ravens injury report: OUT - CB Maurice Canady (thigh), RB Kenneth Dixon (knee), DT Willie Henry (hernia), TE Hayden Hurst (foot) QUESTIONABLE - WR Janarion Grant (hand) Quote
GrubberRaven Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Now Dixon is on IR, but eligible to return...Turner has been called up. Quote
oldno82 Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 I think it will be a tough, close game that we don't win. But as long as we are competitive and entertaining I'll take it. It's just so tough to be going against an AFC North opponent in their house. Quote
GrubberRaven Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 Not many pundits out there favoring the Ravens, so who knows. Lot of people picking the Bengals to have a down season this year, than previous ones...so maybe they'll have the better season. Quote
varaven45 Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 For what its worth, keep an eye out for the Bengals RB Mixon. He had a big game against Indy; figures to have a substantial role tonight. Our D, unlike last Sunday, will be sorely tested tonight. Our D also needs to suffocate Dalton right from the get-go and stay relentless all night. If it doesnt, it will be a long night for the D. Quote
GrubberRaven Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 Isn't Indy's D a bit of a mess though? Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 Yeah Indy has crap on D. That said Mixon is really good. Quote
GrubberRaven Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 So was McCoy (yeah I know, he was the only good thing the Bills had.) Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 Shady has not been super dynamic in a little while. Also that OL was horrid. Quote
GrubberRaven Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 OK, Cincy's OL is in rebuild with a new Oline coach... Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 I have seem on OL coach do miricales with a group. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 Tonight should . be really interesting Quote
tsylvester Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 Well I made it through the first quarter, same old Ravens, penalties, wide outs who can't beat man coverage, a secondary that can't cover man to man.... Good night... Quote
Spen Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 Who would have guessed that in an offensive era the team with the better qb and much much much better WRS would be ahead? Quote
Spen Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 Well I made it through the first quarter, same old Ravens, penalties, wide outs who can't beat man coverage, a secondary that can't cover man to man.... Good night...Good night. Maybe you can stay up when they are better? Quote
tsylvester Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 A defensive line that can't stop a run, an offensive line that can't block, oh and an I told you so, team will cue on the gimmick qb and cost this team.... Quote
tsylvester Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 Good night. Maybe you can stay up when they are better? Nope, sleep is more important to me, I get up early. Quote
Tornado700 Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 Papa- you said, "let's wait to next week". Thanks for knocking me back into reality. I guess I needed that wake up call. Quote
Tornado700 Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 My biggest worry now is C.J. Looks like this could be a serious knee injury. ACL? Man I hope not. Quote
