8. Chris Westry makes plays on the football every day and broke up a Huntley deep ball intended for Devin Duvernay. I’d like to see the Ravens play the 6-foot-4 cornerback for an extended period of time early in Saturday’s game to see how his impressive practice performances translate.

9. You could have won money Wednesday betting on Eric Tomlinson catching the first two touchdowns of the morning. Despite the blocking tight end typically being a non-factor as a receiver, his roster chances will hinge on how close Nick Boyle is to full strength by month’s end.

10. Ronnie Stanley increased his activity level from Monday and moved well during one-on-one drills with his fellow offensive linemen, easing the sting of the Bateman news. Stanley returning to pre-injury form is critical for the success of this offense, so the more practice time he can log, the better..........Twelve Ravens thoughts following Day 12 of open training camp | Baltimore Positive WNST

Watkins continues to stack good practices – even on blistering days like Thursday.

Watkins made several big plays during Thursday's session, including hauling in a perfectly thrown bomb from Trace McSorley during 7-on-7s. Besides his deep ball, however, Watkins' explosion is standing out at practice.

On a slant over the middle, Watkins made an extended fingertips grab and burst between two defenders. When Watkins gets the ball in his hands, he gets up the field in a hurry. He's going to greatly help the Ravens get more yards after catch this season....Practice Report: Sammy Watkins Looks Cool on a Hot Day (baltimoreravens.com)

Thoughts on Cain?  he has missed so much time.  The last catch was OK but I am not seeing much so far.  Would he slide through waivers?

As crav said, Cain missed out thanks to his two drops and the others making very contested catches. Shame too, his size & speed, I was hoping he could work out. But concentration has always been his problem. Too many young hungry wide outs with potential. They may only keep 5 this year, stash someone on the ps to call up if needed.
