tsylvester Posted April 29, 2022 Author Posted April 29, 2022 He saw the writing on the wall. All of those big named receivers getting $100 mil contracts and knew in this system there was no way he could get that money. Quote

He may have some beef with Roman's schemes, but who doesn't. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted April 29, 2022 Posted April 29, 2022 I always said that AB hanging around would be an issue. The FO might have seen it that way too. Quote

Bit if he can put up 1200 yds and 10 TDs he could go from 12 mil for his bmore production to 16 mil for that kind. Quote

True, however, he gained leverage with the trade. Essentially he was traded for the se value as Aj Brown. I would hate to be the Cardinals.. In his mind, with AB in his ear, $50 + mil guaranteed $100 mil is his starting point Quote

Very likely if he stays healthy, Murray is a better deep ball passer and their system is far more passing concepts than that of the Ravens Quote

Could be a Burrow/Chase relationship in Az Quote
oldno82 Posted April 29, 2022 Posted April 29, 2022 OK...who's going to take his space? Or is there another deal to come? Quote
GrubberRaven Posted April 29, 2022 Posted April 29, 2022 Digesting this a bit, Maybe Hollywood did us a favor. He openly admitted to Lamar over the past two seasons he was not a fit for this system and went, silently, to management to ask for a trade after this season. He can be replaced. Quote

Hmmm...I don't think replacing a 1000 yd receiver here will be easy given our past poor record of drafting good receivers. Think Dev or Proche can fill the need? Quote

Yep, our first round pick from last year, if he can stay healthy, can pick up most of the slack. Now, does Proche or Duv finally get a chance to shine and take the next step? Quote
papasmurfbell Posted April 29, 2022 Posted April 29, 2022 And Wallace. I think between the 4 of them plus a draft pick wr will be fine. Quote
tsylvester Posted April 30, 2022 Author Posted April 30, 2022 Man, this has been the worst run draft of all time; for shame NFL.. Ravens pick...Crap, they pick crap Ojabo Quote
tsylvester Posted April 30, 2022 Author Posted April 30, 2022 2nd round draft picks being duds likely continues Quote
tsylvester Posted April 30, 2022 Author Posted April 30, 2022 Crushed it? Let's see how well he heals from the torn Achilles, how long it takes him. Even then, he was not great holding the edge, a lot of his stats were because of the piss poor blocking teams he faced and who was on the other side. The defensive tackle from Uconn is interesting, big quick guy. He might be a very good role player if he stays focused. Quote
vmax Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 Still available today.......10 players the Ravens could target on a busy Day 3 of the 2022 NFL draft: ‘Our scouts will be jacked up’ – Baltimore Sun Upcoming Picks Round 4: No. 110 (from Giants), 119, 128 (from Cardinals), 130, 139, 141 Round 6: No. 196 7 more picks! tsylvester Posted April 30, 2022 Author Posted April 30, 2022 Trueth is not always positive... I give up on watching the draft, it's too horribly run... Quote
tsylvester Posted April 30, 2022 Author Posted April 30, 2022 Draft tracker, Daniel Faalele offensive tackle from Min, great pick. As usual, they dip into Bama and get a cb who can't stay true to the scheme, who gets lost in coverage... Jalyn Armour Davis... Below-average arm length. Only one year of playing experience. Misses tackles in open space because he does not break down his feet. Can do a better job of playing the ball in the air. Hips open too wide when changing directions. Gets a bit handsy downfield. One year of starting Quote
tsylvester Posted April 30, 2022 Author Posted April 30, 2022 Tight end Charlie Kolar, Iowa St Lacks overall physicality to sustain blocks and high point the football. Consistent performer for the past three years. Needs to play with better balance, which limits his explosive opportunities after the catch Quote
tsylvester Posted April 30, 2022 Author Posted April 30, 2022 Jordan Stout, punter, PSU Oy... Tight end Isaiah Likely, CSTCAR Slow into breaks. Small hand size. Would prefer him working up the seam rather than across the field. Frame is not going to hold up as a blocker Quote
tsylvester Posted April 30, 2022 Author Posted April 30, 2022 Damarian Williams cb Houston Only 5-foot-10, 180 pounds, and while he covers ground from the free safety position, size and length are an issue. Because he's undersized, he isn't going to contest many balls at the catch point. Quote
