At a victory.

Harbs you need to let Cundiff kick that ball out of the stadium, instead of going for an onside kick, let them start on their 20 with 2:20 left in the game..I cant believe Harbs mad this call, no way in hell would they have put the ball in gabberts hand to secure the victory, they would have run the same 3 into the line plays that they ran, and punted..

Cam didn't have the offense ready. He couldn't figure out what to call to get it going. The whole offense failed to execute.

They played like they were on dope.

Now they have to answer to Bichiotti.

I cannot believe how poorly the offense played. Part of it is on Cam, but I put a lot of the blame on Joe. When you don't get a first down until late in the 3rd quarter it's more than just play calling. Every throw in the first half was late and wide left or wide right. His accuracy was shit yesterday, and how many times have do we have to see him sleepwalk through an entire half of football before he learns to play with urgency from the whistle? A franchise QB in his 4th year has to be able to step up in games where the team needs him to put the O on his shoulders. What we saw last night was simply inexcusable.

And why in the hell we didnt go hurry up after the half, we were so freekin lethargic in the first half, I almost shut it off...but I like viewing car wrecks, so I gave it another half..

Not sure what to say after a beatdown like that. The only thought I really have is how badly pittsburgh is going to destroy us. We may not get a single first down the whole game against them.

I love Joe, I love his arm, his toughness, his ability to slide around in the pocket this year....

But when they zoom in on him after a bad play he looks border line dead. He literally looks like a corpse who died with their eyes open. Zero emotion, zero words, zero teammates around him... I want to see him just once, grab an o-line man by the facemask and smack him around. Yell at someone. Cuss out a ref, cuss out a reciever, do something to let the world know that he gives a shit.

Exactly. Joe has no emotion which doesnt necessarily prevent him from being a football player. However, as a leader, Joe needs to show passion or emotion to inspire and pick up his team (like last night).

Maybe a 2L bottle of Jolt Cola, a smack around from RayRay and some serious romancing from his bride :yeah: would do the trick :bleh:

Joe is not a leader and never will be. He's a decent technician quarterback but he'll never be elite.

Still, the O-line and WRs were absolutely horrible last night...no time to throw and nobody open to throw to. It was on tape the whole night.

Bisciotti and Harbs will have to let Cam go after the season---or maybe even before.

Can't agree more Crav. I was screaming at the TV....then I was jumping for joy....then I was leaving the bar without my pride! lol

What makes anyone think that the Ravens D would have stopped them from getting a 1st down or 2? They had trouble stopping them the whole 2nd half.

The D did stop them and the Ravens had the ball with a minute 48 I think.

cravs right.

Not only that...the Ravens would have had the ball being down 9-7...only needing a field goal instead of a TD. The short field allowed the Jags to go up by 5.

The onsides kick blew the only opportunity for the Ravens to truely "steal a win".

!:48...have the ball...only need 40 yards or so for the go ahead FG.

And to hear Harbs presser, and him sorta throwing Cundiff under the bus is disturbing, His comment was "Billy has to kick that ball 10 yards" thats a BS cop out excuse, No Harbs Billy dosent have to kick it 10 yards, he needed to kick it 70 yards thru the endzone. put the game in the lap of the #1 D in the NFL, down by 2 points. You dont think the D would have been fired up, down by 2 with a chance to steal the game in Jax??

Disgusting!!!

So I am looking at their drives and I see a lot of 6 or more play drives. That is telling me they were getting 1st downs. But I look at the Ravens side and I see 3 over and over. So again what makes you think the Ravens D was going to stop the Jax offense for a 3 and out?

Their last drive before they kicked ANOTHER 54 yard FG, they went 3 and out, they would have done no different, when starting on the 20

Isnt that the only drive that mattered in that situation, dont tell me about the first 58 minutes, I lived thru that, Im talking about the last 2, when we should have stole a victory, IF the coaches would have kicked off instead of the nancy on sides attempt.

The effort on the field against a supposedly inferior team was terrible for 58 minutes. To blame the loss on the onside kick call, which I do not like either, is short sighted. They did not play well enough to win the game.

Theres nothing inferior about any team in the NFL, the NFL is the pinnacle of team sports, If you're on a pro team you have reached that pinnacle..Now thats not saying coaches lack what it takes to make those alter ego's gel and become a dam good team.

I think Crav's point is decision making in general. Good teams find ways to win when their teams play bad. Pitt has done if for years. So has Philly. In order to win consistently coaches have to make good decisions in crunch time and manufacture wins on occasion. This is why the kick should have went deep. Our defense was playing well and it was more than likely the best opportunity to finish the game. It's not the reason we lost, but very well a reason we did not win.

What if Billy had failed to kick it out of the endzone? To that end of the field I think he was kicking it to the back of the endzone but not through it. If the Jags had fielded the kick off the clock would have ticked under the 2 minutes and we would have lost the ability to stop the clock 3 times. The Jags run 3 plays from the the 20 and then punt would leave at most 1 minute on the clock.

With the way we were running the offense we would have been lucky to run 3 plays before the minute was up. The hurry up that we scored in took nearly 4 minutes!! We were appallingly slow getting to the line on that series.

To be honest, I didn't mind the decision to go for the onside kick. We were about 6inches from it being a great decision. If the refs had called the bounce in our favor as well the Jags had no challenges with which to overturn it and as it was outside of the 2 minutes there would have been no booth review. The refs took their time and got it right but I'm not sure that they were totally convinced when making the decision.

I don't blame Harb's call for the kick, I blame Cam's offense.

Sure there are. There are teams in the league that are inferior to others. This was a bad loss to one of them.

Disagree, on any given Sunday

Buffalo beats New England

Jax defeats Baltimore

Miami 0-15, defeats Baltimore

99.9% of NFL rosters are filled with all-american's
