a good solid team player, he can also play safety.

I don't see their proof that the NFL could have had a 2nd/follow-up interview with McDeflator, not even a quote from him. So is the "media" making something up again?
-
no up roar when the; http://espn.go.com/blog/minnesota-vikings/post/_/id/11218/nfl-aware-of-game-ball-incident-during-panthers-vikings nor when: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000091683/article/san-diego-chargers-fined-20k-by-nfl-in-towel-case So $20 k for trying to "cover up" the "crime that was not a crime in the Chargers case, but no draft picks taken from them. In the Vikes' case, nothing was done, even though they were caught, "red" handed... Keep it up Goody, you will soon be out of a job.......

And what do you want done with the records of Jerry Rice, who admitted to "cheating" by using stickem on his gloves after the rules were changed. Or any number of other teams who won super bowls while their offensive linement used vasiline on their jersies? In each of their Super Bolw victories, the other teams had plenty of chances to win, even at the end of games. While a deflated football is easier to throw, hold, etc, we do not know for sure, exactly how far below the limit the footballs were because the officials at the game/games in question, did not write down the weights....http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/01/29/nfl-didnt-log-the-psi-of-each-patriots-football/ So, as many have said, he is being punished for not being completly forth right, honest, more so than "cheating". While the NFL doesn't need a body for proof of a crime for punishment, they do need far more evidence to remove titles and records, even if they would go that far. To the best of my knowledge, the Chicago Black Socks were the only team to have records removed because of cheating, and that was a long time ago and a different sport.

Yep, this should be interesting. Kraft and Goody were good buddies, wonder if they will reamin that way? It was Kraft who pushed to keep Goody.....
-
I wonder what Kraft will do about the draft picks since Goody didn't do anything to the other two owners who swinddled people, one convicted, the other settled out of court....
-
He will appeal no doubt, and based on past history with appeals, win....... They came down hard on them, so Goody can keep his "respectability", now go check those linemen for vasiline on the backs of their jersies and stick-em on the gloves of the receivers..... fine them accordingly as well....

The New England Patriots were found to most likely

Jerry Rice admitted to using stick-um well after the rule change banning its use.... No outrage there? How many passes would he have dropped without using it? To me, this is much ado about nothing, fine him and move on. The only court that would find guilt in this would be that of public opinion and maybe, maybe, civil court. -
Ravens Insider: Ed Reed helped make defensive football exciting

He should go into the Ring of Honor this season; no waiting time. To wait longer would mean Ernest Byner is more worthy.......... -
Only one team got an A+ in this year's NFL draft
tsylvester replied to Tornado700's topic in Baltimore Ravens
1) fox sucks, 2) it is a draft 3) grading them now is useless. -
, to possibly have, might have, more likely to have, yeah, great words to use when assigning guilt... http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/story/2015-05-06/deflategate-patriots-guilty-cheating-ted-wells-report-dispute-findings-afc-championship-colts

I wasn't speaking of just the Ravens, but Upshaw is still a question mark. Overall, in the NFL however- http://www.montgomeryadvertiser.com/story/sports/college/alabama/2014/04/24/kiper-many-bama-stars-nfl-busts/8084363/

Instead of drafting more Bama guys, he signs them undrafted... oye,,,, enough, enough with the Bama busts, drafted or not.....

Ravens hit a homerun with Breshad Perryman
tsylvester replied to Tornado700's topic in Baltimore Ravens
Two reasons for this; 1) Torrey' timing was almost always off because of the jam at the line or just off the line, Torrey could never get back up to full speed. 2) Torrey has issues with finding the ball over his shoulder, so he would drift, throwing the timing off yet again. Two major upgrades over Smith with Perriman. 1) Perriman tracks the deep ball well. 2) he is strong enough to fight off the jam and has the quicks to get back to full speed in time. -
I wouldn't move the case, nor would I trust a jury, let a judge hear the case, better chance of getting off. I just don't see the evidence, not that we have seen all the evidence, of the more serious crimes. They have no idea how the injury ocurred. For all we know, he slipped while running away and cracked his neck on a cement wall before being arrested. False imprisonment? really? Are they going to charge every officer from now on when a person is arrested, then released without charges? There is no doubt some officer abuse prisoners, of all color, but more predominantly, african american. But to use these officers as the scape goat is just plain wrong. No signs of a beating, no signs his body hit the sides of the van, none. The more I hear on this case, the more I see Mobley not getting a conviction and these riots pick up again as she cleans out her officer for yet another loss in a big case.

I wouldn't put Supernaw out to pasture just yet......
-
They will likely keep him IF he can play special teams well enough, other wise, unless he surprises me and I do hope I am wrong, practice squad for him.

cough, Terrance Cody, cough, cough,,,,,,,,,

I hope they reach out and can convice Ifo Ekpre-Olomu to come in as an UFA. The kid can cover like no other, provided that knee heals properly, he would truly b a steal if it does. Incedentally, he earned $3 mil by not being drafted.... Now for the draft, hard for me to argue with it since I started that thread mid season "begging" them to draft wide receivers early, often and toss in a tight end. It is my belief, ws then and still is, that the way to help this defense is with a better passing game. The 2nd half of last season into the playoffs proved that out. With Perriman and Williams, they should help this offense take the next step, even with another new OC. Some projects drafted later in the draft, Davis for one, Max, I am not sure he is an upgrade over Guy, who played admirable last season. His only job ws to ocupy blockers and he did more than that for certain. I love the Waller pick, as I said in the thread, look what he did when he didn't have an "real offense", no real quarterback, his main job was to block and he did that well. I don't need to remind anyone here how important blocking is in the running game for long runs. I don't expect him to see the field this year, I see a mysterious injury happening to him mid way through pre-season games. Overall, a very solid draft, the corner position wasn't really addressed outside of another project, but frankly, this draft was weak in that area this year and the secondary should be better just bcause of health.

They don't, people, young, are "eating it up" to dense to notice the pick clock went dark and the picks were made 15 minutes before announcing them....
-
At a small school level against car wash receivers. He is a long shot to make the team at this point ....
-
Love this kid's potential, he might be tne next Clarence Moore, or the next Hermon Moore; sky is the limit, it all hinges on how well he adjusts to the coaching; boy does he have the measurables and the hands, he can catch anything with in a 2 mile radius...

His short shuttle and 3 cone are decent, fyi, the best time, (which shows quickness) was 3.95 by a running back, 3 cone, which also shows ability to change direction, best was 6.42 by a wide receiver for reference. Still a reach for a project, practice squad player, maybe a special teamer...
