He clearly said he punched his wife and nocked her out. My guess, this circle the waggons Biscut called for yesterday with all the staff was to get their stories straight since Biscut and Ozzie have differen versions. Some great owner huh? By the way, a good game going on right now between North texas & La Tech, a number of good NFL prospects playing, CBS sports line.... Remarks...... Their play by play radio guy for saying Janay marrying Ray after the incident, was insane. Never mind there is a defense end who is accussed of beating, not punching, but beating his pregnant girl friend, who has quite visible bruses and cuts. Now she could have gotten those from him simply trying to fend her off.... But why not suspend him with pay until due process? Oh that is right, the coach, Gm & owner all claim to have 0, zero, nadda, zilch tolerence for this "sort of thing".... No, the NFL doesn't have a problem. The Carolina owner was in tears trying to explain to the media and fund raising crowd that he is against domestic violence, yet lets a man convicted of not just beating his wife/girl friend, not punching, but beating her and, threatening to kill her.... Convicted, yet he is not only allowed to walk the streets while his appeal is heard, but collect millions and play... I gues he should play, because if she is the reson for him losing his job, he might carry out his threat........ Again I say, no the NFl does not have a domestic violence problem, nor an issue with being "tough on offenders"....

Even if she did anything to cause the outburst of Ray, how they could possibly allow her to apologize and then, tweet she apologized. They really screwed this one up big time. Now, If it is true, since the NFl would have had and watched the tape in April, this could over turn Rice's suspension.... Now, If it is true, do you honestly think the comish would not call Stave B and say:"you have to watch this" or something along those lines? According to the AP< per ESPN, a law enforement official confirms, they sent a copy of the elevator video to an NFL exec, IN APRIL. So some one's head is going to roll...... stay tuned, this aint over till the germans bomb pearl harbour. edit to add- there is a voice mail confirmation from a female at NFl offices saying they got the video and yes, it was disturbing..... oooooo

The first, at the front of the elevator, was a slap, minsing words I know, but bear with me here.... The second was in response to her spitting on him. No, I am not excussing him, not my intent at all. Simply, and I have some experience here having a sister who was abused, a brother accused numerous times of abusing his wife, fake reports, am trying to say there is good reason to believe he never has beaten her before. Food for thought, is all. I understand that most men, once a woman beater always a woman beater, but there are some who only did it once and usually, alcohol was involved and instigation by the woman.

There is no evidence he has done this before. In fact, since there was alchol invloved and that he did not beat her, simply (sorry, wrong word I know) struck her once, it is very likely he has never done this before. If that were to be true, then she is not a battered woman, but a woman who loves her husband and know this was out of the ordinary for her. Time will tell and I hope I am right.

You do understand that it isn't about the cutting of him, nor the suspension, but their lack of forethought, their inability to see that when the video would come, there would be major backlash, based on the original video and Ray's statements to them. Thus, if the Ravens were going to cut him, they should have done it back in Feb, not this week. If the NFL ws going to BREAK THEIR OWN RULES and suspend him indefinately, they should have done it back in Feb, not this weekl. That is what has me and many, many others who know football, who know the rules, so ticked off. Goody, when he made the choice to suspend Rice for 2 games, claimed it was the max he could give him. The Ravens, when the suspension was announced, claimed they were sticking by Ray and would bend to the league for discipline. If 2 games was the max under the rules, how is it, Goody can now circumvent said rules and on Ray's first offense, suspend him, not six months as the rules state, but indefinately? How can the Ravens cut him, when they were going to stand by him? Oh, that is right, all because what he did was caught on tape, not because of what he did. Proof? The tape backs up almost exactly as Ray & Janay outlined. Don't buy into their, the league nor the Ravens, excuse that the two watered down their confession. Seeing her unconscous, seeing Ray act like it was no big deal, on camera plus their version is pretty easy to see what transpired in the elevator, with out seeing the tape. Knowing there was a tape, and not thinking; hmmm, intoday's society, that tape will come out, is ludicrous if they expect any sensible adult to buy the excuse that they couldn't get the tape or just took the law's and league's decision as justice.... So go ahead, your choice to keep giving your money to the people who will do what ever they wish and treat you like a non-thinking person.

Taking his jersey off the market, replacing it with anothr for fns. Papa Johns offering pizza for a Rice jersey, what his college is doing. One would think he is a baby killer. Sad, quite sad.. All Biscut and Goody had to say was; we made the moves to suspend him, to cut him because of how the public would wouldreact when they saw the tape. At least that would be the truth................ Now, the message is; we did not suspend him/cut him because of what he did, rather, because what he did was caught on tape.

Really? I understand before he accepted the plea and the case closed, his lawyer would not give you the tape. But after,right after, he certainly would since there would be no legal issues at that point.... Sorry, mook.........
