No way any of those guys go on the IR. We have kept them out because we have the luxury of plenty of CB and WR depth, not to mention Gurode has allowed us to keep Grubbs out at LG. This team will still improve.

What surprised me is how poor the offensive line played, this Texans defense shouldn't have been putting that much pressure on us, especially with Williams out. It looked to me like our offensive line took them lightly, and we almost paid the price.

This game is going to be cake. Without Williams to have to double-team, their pass-rush doesn't exist. Without Johnson to have to double-team, their passing game is shit and we can load the box. We got lucky as hell to come into this game with both of their best players (2 All-Pro's) missing, and should absolutely destroy Houston as a result.

There's nothing to 'buy'. It was obvious we were/are taking many more deep shots, and its also obvious those lower the % completion rate. I don't even think Joe had a bad game last week, people are already forgetting those amazing scrambles he had in the First Quarter that ended up as completions, ALL BECAUSE OF JOE. I do want us to keep taking deep shots, but I also want us to work the run more as well as the play action.

McPhee and Redding are more 3-4 DE's then Kindle who is a situational pass-rusher or 3-4 OLB if he get's full playing time. I don't think the two should be discussed as pitted against each other for playing time.
