Yup I worry about him too doing this in the future but for right now I'm in his corner all the way. He has no fear and does things no Raven has ever been capable of doing. No more snoozing when the offense is on the field. The defense is inconsistent. It's our Achilles heal. They have to upgrade a player or two there for next season. We need a better pass rush and another guy to complement what Pierce does. When he's not on the field the whole defensive line disappears.

Good stuff, Tsyl! Interesting to see that book and movie series make it to our forum, too!

The offense is red-hot and they pummeled a hapless Bengal team. It suddenly seems that Lamar can beat any team with his arm or legs. All-Pro candidate for sure. The defense...well the rush defense has had better days but the secondary, for the most part, played very well. It was a textbook example of a real football slaughter.

Wow! like that!

I'd say they're ripe for a letdown. This is another thing that relates to coaching. Billick was especially good at this. That photo Max showed above should be a good motivator. We'll see. Hope Stanley is going to be OK. We'll need him down the stretch and beyond if we get that far.

It doesn't make sense to me to keep Jones...he has nothing to offer. I'm baffled to as to why they would cut Canaday to keep him on the roster. So far as picking up Demaryius, it does seem to me Max is right. Same problems with him as with Jones.

I tell you...I was damned tired of watching the plodding offense we had before. Now, anything can happen on any play and the results so far have been great for us.. Hard to believe this team has changed so much in one year. I guess Roman and Wink will be head coaches elsewhere next year...good for them but sad for us. Maybe Bisciotti will make them an offer they can't refuse like he did with DaCosta.

He's an unusually good leader...especially for his age. The team adores the guy and they really want to play for him.

Sometimes when I am watching the game, I think to myself that if Lamar can stay healthy this team can beat anybody. In fact they just did in beating NE!

I've never seen a talent like Lamar before in football. The kid is only in his second year! Wow! Just, Wow!

I agree Max...Tucker wins it for us in a close game. A real nail-biter.

Oh what the hell---Ravens 24 Pats 21.

Really exciting times!

He was literally hopping mad(d) great read

Lamar is a real leader. He makes everyone around him confident of success. He knows how to carry the team on his back when necessary. A real big change from Joe. -
Feels great to be wrong!!! Gooooooo Ravens!

Seahawks 31 Ravens 13. Hate to say it but, Seahawks 31 Ravens 13. Here’s hoping I’m wrong.

Good trade! And hopefully we can use Max’s idea about releasing Smith and Canady and sign him long term. If not we get a comp pick anyway as Taylor suggests. My only concern is can Harbaugh deal with his personality? Anyway, another smart move by Eric.

At the moment, Lamar is the most exciting player in football! Stay healthy, though!

Seattle is a very hostile environment to play in. Wilson is having a terrific year and, at this stage, he's more polished than Lamar. Our defense won't be able to stop the Seahawks. Lamar will pull off a few very dazzling runs and maybe a pass or three to keep the score somewhat respectable but Seattle is on a roll with Wilson right now. When I look at Seattle's team I think I'm getting a preview of what the Ravens will be like next year or the year after. (I hope!) Meanwhile, these injuries are killing us. We've got to get Brown back on offense. I think our defense, which is only fair when healthy is so riddled with injuries that it's done for the year. And there wasn't a whole lot of talent to begin with. The Pats may be a different story. Best team in the league but they'll be playing in a very hostile environment. But with no pass pressure do we really have any chance against the Pats and Brady? I'm hope Jimmy Smith is back by then. But even that won't be enough.
