  1. "Oh geeee. What a shame."
  2. Actually his day started off bad before the game. WeDone sacked by the flag.... http://msn.foxsports.com/video/shows/online-ot?vid=243e021a-acfc-4256-a670-75859c646461&from=en-us_msnhp
  3. 12 for 35 for 118 yards and a 3.4 ypp. 4 INT's and a 5.1 QB rating. Maybe they need to admit that they fucked up and call on the Real McCoy. They gave up 456 yards but Vick did his best WeDone impersenation throwing 4 INT's to keep the Brownies in the game. I think this is 5 in a row Opening Day losses at home. Along with winning football, this was not seen too...
  4. There's nothing but football! Don't know how I lived without NFL Redzone! It's insane! Just saw 24 TD's....
  5. Don't know what to say...just...Wow!
  6. Damn good thing that we have Freedom of Speech and a seperation of Church and State or Burns would have us living in Nazi Germany. He needs to ne reprimanded and voted out of office for trying to use his power to strong arm an American citizen and for his lack of understanding of the Constitution which he is sworn to protect.
  7. Better for them to eat that money than the Ravens. He was a beast in college. Loved watching him.
  8. This was soooo wierd... If somebody's cutting your pay you are going to ask why. Then dig this from McKinnie... He friggn'n knows he's over paid for what he can give. Nobody who's got game caves like that. When McKinnie got the news his agent said to walk out and leave that he'll be in demand. The agent shops...gets low offers...or no offers...and they end up signing. He still doesn't know what bus hit him... It's late in life for him to be learning that creditors and employers don't give away money for nothing....he might be learning now. Not sure. All he had to do was get into the best shape that he can at this point in his career. It's cost him at least $1 mil and nobody's sure if he gets it.
  9. Gorrer got cut because they needed help at safety and signed Ihheigbo. Consadine looked bad all pre season. I don't want to see him playing defense. I have to take a great leap of faith as far as the pass rush is concerned. The Ravens had none this pre season. They stayed vanilla...played a lot of man coverage and Williams looked like shit and Smith didn't impress me. Both forgot how to turn around and find the ball. It's worse with Williams. It seems he can't turn. He might be distracted by feeling extremely stupid for leaving the amount of guaranteed money that he was offered on the table. The leap of faith? Pees is one blitz happy dude and schemes like crazy. He brings it from everywhere and the Ravens will have to do that to generate pressure. Keeping Kindle and signing Adrian Hamilton is just a sign that they are desperate to get pressure and not confident with who they have to do the job.
  10. "It puts a lot on the quarterback,'' said Flacco, "but that's something I really like.'' The Ravens don't need the no huddle to beat the Steelers.
  11. In the history of the Ravens franchise, they have had 2 back up QB's that I felt good about. Randal Cunningham and Trent Dilfer. There were 587 others who were disasters waiting to happen. I'm glad that Ozzie is staying away from the QB Scrap Heap Musical Chairs. I'd rather have young, new talent as a back up than the Sage Rosenfells of the world. If he were trotting out on the field, my feelings would be "Oh No..." By constantly trying to find a back up from the draft, they at least have the door open that they may find and develop a winner. That can't happen going to the Scrap Heap. No winners there...ever. They are there because they lose. There are 32 teams in the league...it's semi QB starved....these guys can't find a starting job on the horrible teams. So...do you want one comming in for the Ravens with the playoffs or a game on the line? Not me. Not unless there is another Dilfer or Cunningham available and I don't see one.
  12. Hey....we're #1 here.... We're in the money.
  13. will get you something at the Dollar Store. We know the offenses and defenses weren't game planning....the D's were showing nothing and a lot of these numbers were put up by the 2's and 3's. I was a little shocked to see the Ravens at #1 in so many offensive catagories. After many pre seasons of dismal numbers by the offense, this is refreshing. It tells me the system fits the personel and that they are comfortable in it. That's all. Of course the huge question is: Will this translate into the regular season? "They hardly used me."
  14. He's on the practice squad...burried. Any QB who is signed to a practice squad can not lead an NFL team to victory. They can run the scout team and in Dixon's case, give up the Stealer playbook. They are one step away from being unemployed.
  15. "It reminds me of me."
  16. Billicks on the Bandwagon.... 12-4 is a strong prediction against that schedule.
  17. I don't know...is Dukes ever right about anything? But your right OTR...it's amazing for a Raven Hater to say something like that. I love the offense and we haven't had Pita and Dixon on the field for Joe.
  18. There is no difference between the QB's that everybody mentions and Mitchell, Banks, Case, Wright, Jim Harbaugh... There's really nothing to get upset about here. The Ravens can't win with any of these guys. I know this doesn't belong here, but thinking about Ravens QB's of the past brought this hilarious true story up... Yup...unbelievable but true.
  19. Look...after these football games somebody needs to clean up the kitchen around here! I'm tired of doing it every week.
  20. I'm not saying that he's a bust. I'm saying he's a big disappointment right now. Suggs injury has left this defense vulnerable. JJ was let go...probably for a youth movement and an "on fire" young guy probably could have been as effective this year as an aging JJ. But that guy has not shown up. Disappointing. This team has a need and Upshaw was being asked "Can you help us?" I see a sholder shrug....not a guy on fire to help his team mates. I think the only reason Kindle made the team is because Upshaw has disappointed them and they have to find a way to get a pass rush. That's desperate. That caused some other guy to get cut....like Brown, who if Upshaw had his fire we'd be saying "JJ Who?" or "Another great find Ozzie!"
  21. There's something wrong with him. He comes to camp overweight and out of shape. He's been hurt...in the tub. He hasn't made any plays. That's bullshit.
  22. I am not confident at all. "Yea! Another guy wide open!"
  23. Painter is the best bet. He knows the offense and can execute it. Not sure if any back-ups out of work can pick up this offense and run it. He has led some good TD's drives including the only one last night. Painter...he's got throwing problems. Sometimes he looks great and then he has these brain fart throws.
  24. Brown may lack speed and size but he is always around the ball...he lead that soft Ravens defense that we saw last night with 6 tackles. The rest were No Tackling Mo Fo's. They let the coaches and their team mates down. Considine sucks. I watched him. He's out of position, gets faked out, can't cover or tackle...he should not be in a Ravens uniform. Update: Rainey is a Raven. Kindle can't make a play
