I have been very critical of him in the past but I guess his bend but don't break D was there because he didn't want to over blitz and expose the weak secondary. Now he has Webb rounding into form and a really good FS in Hill he just unleashed the hounds and it looks really good. I'm looking forward to the rematch with Cinci now. We win that one and we really get a strangle hold on the AFC North.

Jacoby needs to be replaced on punt returns. He can't catch a pass and now he can't catch a punt. I bet he couldn't even catch a cold.

All the reports I have seen are PH is a piece of shit and locker room cancer. He gave Golden Tate a black eye before the superbowl and then when Wilson chewed him out he snapped and tried to fight with his QB. So he should fit right in with the train check in NY.

Happy Birthday! Have a great day.

They just tied with the Panthers at home! Injuries are starting to mount. If they make the playoffs it will be another 1 and done.

I watched a bit of the Jets/Donkeys and saw Manning take a few dives early to make sure he didn't get hit. On a couple of them he had time to throw the ball away. F'ing pussy.

Jamison nailed it max. Kudos to him.

Yeah I agree. I liked the aggressive call but hated the play call. It wasn't even a yard. Stick Joe behind Zuttah and Yanda or KO and sneak for it. Or go Jumbo and run your 230lb wrecking ball at RB. Playaction pass did not work all game. The Colts played it perfectly. They accepted we were going to get some yards running but they weren't going to let playaction kill them. They had a pass rusher head straight for Joe everytime and they didn't bite once. We even ran a delayed handoff play a few times and the rusher just ignored the RB and went for Joe. That should have been all we needed to see to know that Playaction wasn't going to work and we should have went to plan B.

Why is it our D defends like their life depends on it when the opposition reaches the redzone but plays scared of the big play everywhere else on the field? I would quite happily give up the odd big play now and again if it meant more 3 and outs. As usual, Pees 3rd down defense sucks balls. We can look good on 1st and 2nd down and then come 3rd down we look so vanilla. An overload blitz once in a while would sure look nice. How about lining Suggs and Doom up on the same side once in a while? Show some variety and try and confuse the O-Line. Did I say I miss Pags D? I liked what I was seeing from the Colts D and wish we still had that instead of this play to not lose crap we see every week.

If you ever need evidence of the fact that games are won and lost in the trenches then look no further than the 2013 Ravens v 2014 Ravens especially when comparing O-Lines.

There was a reason Brady wasn't happy when Mankins was traded.

lol, me 3. There was a stat that flashed up on the screen during the game that JJ's latest drop was his 8th and was good for 2nd most drops in the league! Give me some more Marlon Brown and less Jacoby. The poor fella couldn't even catch some kick offs that were landing around the goal line yesterday!

I actually feel less concerned with Hurst starting at LT than any of the changes that went on last season. In fact I feel better with Hurst coming in the rest of the guys switching positions to mask the problem. If the other 4 stay the same then there are things you can do to give Hurst some help. Once we start shifting the other guys about we lose that cohesion that we seem to have in our O-Line play at the moment. -
I don't know. What happens if the case ends in all charges being dismissed because the player did nothing wrong? Then you have suspended a player and have withheld money from them while all along they were innocent! This is going to end in tears somewhere along the way. A punishment before a guilty verdict must be against the US Constitution surely?
-
I think they said it is only 5 yards within the bench area. So if the play had taken place inside the 20 it would have been legal if he had his shoulders square to the LOS.
-
I tend to agree with you colin. I don't want to get to a situation where an ex girlfriend can cry wolf to get a player suspended. I think this thing has to go through the judicial system first and then the NFL react second. Afterall we are supposed to live in a society of innocent until proven guilty. In the case were a player was found guilty but has appealed then I would still be in favor of suspension until the case is heard. If the case isn't heard until after the 6 game suspension or whatever it might be is up well that's tough shit.

While I somewhat agree with that, I can't explain away the fact that when Ngata is out of the game Williams or Jernigan or someone else on the D-Line seems to make a play in his place.

I guess we all have our opinions on the subject. I was beat as a kid. My mother used the threat of a beating from my father because he hit harder. I don't feel we had a strict upbringing but when we (my younger brother and sister and I) got a beating we normally deserved it. I don't feel it did us any harm and we have grown up to be decent people. It's like anything, too much is a bad thing. Sometimes it's better to hug and talk about it. Other times a good beating gets the message across. Although I'm not sure a 4 year old really ever deserves a beating.

I agree. We give up far too many 3rd and Longs than I am comfortable with. We actually seem to be much better at getting off the field on 3rd and 4 or 5. Probably not true but it sure feels that way.

Whatever he was smoking made him the smartest man in the room. But of course you won't admit to that because you are perfect.

I agree. Innocent until proven guilty. He has only be proven to be guilty of a one time offense. There is ZERO evidence of multiple incidents. -
20-17 Ravens. I need a boost after this week.

I have told plenty of lies. We all probably have. However, I don't think any of us have ever lied about beating our wives at a press conference so yes I do feel we can be judgmental but no I do not believe we are hypocrites.
