  1. Filler episode. Nothing more. The march to Alexandria starts next week so there is that.
  2. Not at a $16m cap number they don't. He is one boneheaded move away from a full season suspension and he's getting old so I don't believe he should get an extension. That leaves being cut or traded. The $8m cap savings can be spent on other areas of the team.
  3. I agree but then Crav is in Florida where they worship Winston and he is being brain washed by the FL media. Jameis can rape women, steal food and they still think the sun shines out of his arse. That's Free Seafood U for you.
  4. I do agree we go BPA within reason. If the BPA in the first 3 rounds was a WR do we take 3 WRs? No, Ozzie will move around the draft board to pick up the guys they really want at the correct spots. I have always believed he pretty much drafts Best Need Available anyway. I'm just saying I think they should be targeting WR/CB/TE early. This all depends on what happens in free agency and if we cut/trade any of our high cap numbers for some cap relief.
  5. This is what they have as our top 3 needs: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000407751/article/2015-nfl-draft-order-top-three-needs-for-all-32-teams 26. Baltimore Ravens 2014 record: 10-6 (.475) Top three needs: Pass rusher, RB, OL Top-rated prospects at positional needs: Pass rusher: Leonard Williams (USC), Shane Ray (Missouri), Dante Fowler, Jr. (Florida); RB: Todd Gurley (Georgia), Melvin Gordon (Wisconsin), Tevin Coleman (Indiana); OL: Brandon Scherff (Iowa), Cedric Ogbuehi (Texas A&M), La'el Collins (LSU). Neither of those 3 spots are in our top needs. WR/CB/TE in any order should be the focus of the first 3 needs and then pass rusher/RB. OL isn't even a need. We maybe take a late round punt on someone for depth/development but we don't lose any starters or the top backups at OT and G/C.
  6. Crav, No way Mariota gets all the way to New Orleans at 13. There are at least 5 teams ahead of them that need a QB. It's very possible that if Winston passes all the tests at the combine in terms of team interviews and his checkered past then Mariota and Winston go 1 and 2 to Tampa and Tennessee. Regardless, the Jets at 6, possibly Bears at 7 and Rams at 10 would take him at their spots and even trade up. Not to mention the Saints have Brees. They don't need a QB unless they are preparing for life after Brees and even then they might wait until another draft where there are better players available at more affordable picks (in terms of trading up)
  7. Me too. I only wish Carl in the TV show was as good/as bad ass as Carl in the comic. Tyrese gets captured by the Governor and beheaded after a failed attempt to trade Tyrese for entry into the prison. Basically, the tv show swaps Tyrese and Herschel's deaths. However, in the comic Herschel also dies in the attack on the prison by the Governor.
  8. Negan will likely be the cliff hanger at the end of the season. When Tyrese got bit in the arm I thought he was for the chop and would become the one armed man thus flipping another storyline from the comic onto a different character. My first thought was how was he going to cut his arm off with just that pocket knife. By the way there were some nice zombie kills in this episode especially when they were trying to get out again and let all the zombies through the gate.
  9. I have to believe that the delay is so they can get the house in order. You know that the Ray Rice situation is going to come up again and some of the FO people didn't exactly tow the party line. They are probably rehearsing how they are going to handle the media to present a united front. Either that or they are figuring out the makeup of the FO as a few guys are pushed towards retirement (aka fired for not following Biscuit's lead).
  10. Don't feed the trolls max. This will end up as another 5 page thread where the only argument from the haters is "Wawawa, you are all Flacco groupies blablabla."
  11. There was a stat from the Superbowl that neither the Patriots or Seahawks had any 5* recruits on their teams. It's just really hard to project how a kid will handle college. Kids mature at different rates and some kids have close to NFL bodies while in high school. They look like 5* recruits until they get to college where most junior/seniors have close to NFL bodies and their development stunts.
  12. If Torrey wanted to be in Baltimore so bad he would have signed for $7m per season last year. That's what Decker got from NYJ ($7.2m per season) last year and he has put up much better stats than Torrey ever has. Torrey is gone and I just hope he gets stupid money from someone so that we pick up a higher compensatory pick in the 2016 draft.
  13. This draft is loaded with RBs and we are going to be able to pick up a good one again sometime from the 3rd round onwards. If we get any comp picks in the 3rd round then spending one on a RB wouldn't be a waste. There are a number of guys with good vision, can catch the ball and have some burst that will be perfect for the WCO that we want to run. There is no reason to waste money on Forsett. Let him test the market and if no big offers are forthcoming then move for him. Otherwise, thanks for the season JF and good luck.
  14. Just think how good the line can be this season with a year playing together under their belts. Cohesion along the O-Line is a big plus going into this season.
  15. I thought that was one of the best put together episodes in a long time. I wonder if that was a new director on that episode. It started like a normal episode but quickly turned into something that was better filmed than anything I have seen from TWD. They are already talking about Washington DC so normally we will reach there by the end of the next season at TWD's pace. However, fingers crossed they get their by the end of this season!
  16. At this point I would rather keep that money to invest elsewhere in the team and just take a shot on a couple of WRs in the draft and/or develop Aiken/Brown/Butler/Camp. With his play this year I wouldn't offer anything more than 5 years 30m with 15 guaranteed. Maybe offer an extra $5m in incentives?
  17. Definitely. Even if they failed to get in with Lynch on 2nd down, they could have called a timeout and then run a pass play (maybe a Play Action bootleg and give Wilson the option of the pass or using his legs to run it in). If they failed to get in on 3rd down they would have still had time to run a 4th down run play to Lynch again. You got to trust your beast RB in those situations. So many plays would have worked/looked better in that situation than a shotgun slant on the 1.
  18. The zone blocking scheme requires vision and quick feet. Any other attributes are just icing on the cake. If you put JF in Tali's body or with just a bit more speed and you have a 2,000 yard back.
  19. The monetary fine is worthless. The only way this will hurt is through draft picks and we know Belicheat likes his draft picks. Another way I would like to see them hit is by having to make more players inactive during games than their opponents, kind of like being hit with a scholarship sanction in college. You start punishing them where it will hurt on the field and they will stop cheating.
  20. Just started playing the Walking Dead game Season 1. It's a pretty good storyline. I will probably try out Season 2 now. I'm looking forward Season 5 resuming again in a few weeks.
  21. Fight On Coach Pete Carroll. I hope you kick Cry Brady's ass in the Super Bowl. Go SC Hawks!
  22. Yeah, especially if it meant going "home". I believe that when Kubs said he would remain in Baltimore he believed he would. I think he looked at all the job openings and felt he was happier with us. That was before the Broncos job became available. I think that was quite possibly the only job he would have left the Ravens for. Sure the logical thinking is he would have a better opportunity here but I think his heart is in Denver and for that reason I can't blame him one bit for taking the job with the promotion and more money. Best of luck and now we need to focus on next man up.
  23. I stopped watching after they moved it to before the Super Bowl. When it was played after the Superbowl I watched because it was the last football we would see for 6 months.
  24. I really like the Newsroom. It's a shame I believe this is it's last season.
