papasmurfbell Posted December 18, 2013 Author Posted December 18, 2013 No need to do it at the expense of someone else. I don't recall McGahee saying something like this when Ray was taking over. Quote
52isUnstoppable Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 "I ain't going to take no credit for the kick, but my 2 yards probably helped out a little bit," Are you going to take credit for these pathetic YPC averages that cost us the GB and Cle game that would have made the difference between us fighting for our playoff lives vs already clinching? 2.7 vs pitt1.9 vs jets1.7 vs cin1.8 vs @ cle2.4 vs gb2.7 @ mia Quote
Tornado700 Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 You got to read between the lines here. Ray wasn't taking credit for gaining 2 yards. He was simply highlighting how close that 61 yard kick was. Quote
cravnravn Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Nado is right, ray has never been about himself Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 18, 2013 Author Posted December 18, 2013 It should not have been mentioned. Quote
oldno82 Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 I don't have any problem with what he said. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 18, 2013 Author Posted December 18, 2013 You are not the worry. Creating LR decension is what can be the issue. Quote
oldno82 Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 I don't think that's a problem either. Quote
vmax Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Com'm man! This is Ray Rice you're talking about. The man is injured...hip injury...for a RB that's serious. He's the greatest RB the Ravens have ever had.The reason the offense is so poor is that it has always revolved around him because he is such a playmaking threat. How soon all the great games, performances and blood, sweat and tears are forgotten! Quote
vmax Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Oh...and he's one of the nicest players the Ravens have ever had. He has a huge, good heart. Quote

Oh...and he's one of the nicest players the Ravens have ever had. He has a huge, good heart. And that has what to do with production? If you are the nicest guy in the world then they will still cut you if you can't perform. Quote
GrubberRaven Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 If you are the nicest guy in the world then they will still cut you if you can't perform. Well you're pretty consistently an ass, but we keep you around... Quote
OutsideRzAcE Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Sounds to me like something one would say in jest. Quote

Tornado700 Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Papa- you're off on this one. Locker room dissention? C'mon man. Quote
RavenMad Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Ray had a great game pass blocking against the Lions. I'm sure he would have loved to have been out in a pattern but the game called for him to help the line and anytime a LB blitzed he seemed to get a piece of him. It's the little things he does that make him such a good player. Quote
