papasmurfbell Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/03/09/another-raven-is-arrested/ It’s been a rough month for the Ravens. In fewer than four weeks, three players on the team have been arrested. Joining running back Ray Rice and receiver Deonte Thompson is guard Jah Reid.According to the website of the Monroe County, Florida Sheriff’s office, Reid wasarrested early Sunday on two misdemeanor charges of battery.A third-round pick in 2011, appeared in 10 games with no starts in 2013. He’s due to become a free agent next year.I think he will be cut this week. He has brought nothing to the team. Quote
tsylvester Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 yeah, I'm ssure they will cut ties with him, he was a project that never panned out. Quote
OutsideRzAcE Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Crean said that police were called to the bar and reviewed surveillance video, which showed Reid fighting. vmax Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 I think the Jamal Lewis's incident happened while he was in college. Anyway...this made ESPN headlines "Reid is the third Ravens player to be arrested in 22 days" http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/10578178/jah-reid-baltimore-ravens-arrested-battery-charges When you start hitting 3 players then you have the beginning of an epidemic. I think winning the Super Bowl went to a lot of players heads and they spent more focus on "the glory and the fame" than on what they had to do to get better. I think many felt that they didn't have to do much more than show up last year....and that was evident in the teams overall performance. Quote

Spen Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 3 arrests in 22 days!? C'mon, we can do better. Quote
