Trip down memory lane

The Ravens will get a trip down memory lane in their fourth preseason game, as they will return to the site of Super Bowl XLVII. It will be interesting to see the players’ emotions as they enter “The Big Easy,” and whether the trip lights a fire to get back to the big game. As of now, there are 30 players left on the Ravens roster from the Super Bowl season.

It's not competition. It is all but meaningless.

It's absurd to pay to see those games that by their own admission, is to get a look at different players in game time speed, and try out new plays and systems....It is not geared at all to the fans......Fans are just such addicts that they pay outrageous prices to see a meaningless game to us...

Never been to one and never plan to as long as they charge like it's a real game, fans are so frivolous ..

18 game schedule then I want a 60 man roster. I don't mind 18 games but we would need more players

That goes without saying. I would also add a 2nd bye. Also have it so a player can only suit up for 17 games. That can be used if a guy is dinged up also. On sundays say 53 dress. You could have it so basically all the starters never sniff special teams.

I'm getting sick of these Thursday night games. To be FORCED to buy a ticket at regular price for a meaningless practice game.... on a weeknight when you have to getup early the next morning is BLATANTLY WRONG, UNFAIR, AND DOWNRIGHT DISRESPECTFUL to their loyal PSL owners.

It's total bullshit and I'm getting sick of it. Maybe it's time to sell.

60 man rosters. Allow everyone that is healthy to dress. Expand the practice squads from 8 to 10 and remove the limitations on the players that are allowed to be on practice squads.

 

All of these would help with an 18 game regular seasons and shorter preseason.

Not everyone who is healthy. Say 53-55 would be good.

I'm cool with Thursday games. It helps me get thru the week but I admit, I doubt I would attend any.

The second bye is a must for an 18 game schedule. I think you should be able to suit up 60 players. Not sure about the 17 game limit.

Sure it would. The reason why you don't suit up everyone is because not every team will have an entire roster ready to go. So if you have 5 hurt then those are the ones that are down. Also in my scenario only playing 17 games you would not have all active on a given week.

Expand the rosters to 60 with 60 allowed to suit up. You can use players on your practice squad to make up the game day 60.

There is no way they jump it by 12 players. It is 2 games and im my plan it would be 1 more game for a player.
