OutsideRzAcE Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 He had tight coverage even on the completions he gave up. I like how he plays the position - we were lucky that he was available this week. Quote

oldno82 Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 1 Game. Exactly. And against a rookie QB. Quote
vmax Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 At the stadium, with a good view of the whole field, Gorrer played solid. So did Anthony Levine....he had a very good start.Hill made a difference too. I think he'll be a play maker. They tried to stay away from him.Elam looked better. Webb still is not his old self but he was aggressive and he knows what's going on. The head knows where to go and the body is play catch up. He has about half a step to get back.Brooks is a mixed bag...he's still thinking too much. Quote
thundercleetz Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 I thought Levine played really tough. Didn't let up too many passes, and was strong in run support. Webb on the other hand got torched. For a secondary with undrafted free agents, the Titans offense was picking on our high dollar cornerback with ease. Quote

OutsideRzAcE Posted November 10, 2014 Author Posted November 10, 2014 1 Game. Yea but I've seen Gorrer before and he's left an impression - at least for me. He should have beat Chykie Brown years ago. Quote
tsylvester Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Yea but I've seen Gorrer before and he's left an impression - at least for me. He should have beat Chykie Brown years ago. He has the instincts, and the measurables, now it is just a matter of learning the sytem completely. I agree, he clearly, to my eyes, beat out Brown. Quote
cravnravn Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I still think Webby is hurt. I think so too, the titans deep out balls were at Webby and he was 2 steps behind on them. Quote
RavenMad Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 True it's only 1 game against a poor team but you can only beat or in this case cover what is in front of you. He played well against a poor team but it would have been worse for us if he hadn't played well against a poor team. If he plays well again in 2 weeks time then great. Quote
varaven45 Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 fwiw, I like this kid. He's an NFL survivor and, like Forsett, is giving his all to make the team. As pointed out, itll be interesting to see how he does in NO next week. Quote
