cravnravn Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 I see the nfl broke it off in our asses, play in London then why not face the Stealers. With no bye week..thought when you played in London the following week was your bye. Quote
vmax Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Getting real tired of opening and closing with the Bengals. The upside is the Ravens will remember last years poor performance. I think they will sweep the Bengals this year.It will be hard to improve by 2 more wins this year and get to 10-6.But....you never know. It might all fall in place. The team might stay healthy and really get better game by game as the season progresses. Quote

ravinmaniac52 Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 We get some air miles this year.. 14-2what ya been drinking? Where is out 16-0? Quote
papasmurfbell Posted April 22, 2017 Author Posted April 22, 2017 We get some air miles this year.. 14-2I see 8-8. You always predict a stoners record. Join us in the real world. Tornado700 Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 9-7. No playoffs. They're a couple years away. Quote
BengalBilly Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 Such a shame your Ravens are going to start and end the season with a loss. The schedule crew at the NFL really has it in for you guys I guess. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted May 4, 2017 Author Posted May 4, 2017 With Cle and Pit always starting and ending the season there is only one other option. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted May 5, 2017 Author Posted May 5, 2017 We already had some snowflakes whining about this before. I had to point out logic to them. Quote
vmax Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 After this draft I can see the Ravens going 10-6. I'm getting psyched about the defense. Quote
oldno82 Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 Yep, the defense is looking good both short term and long term. I don't think we'll have to worry about it for several years. But the offense...who's going to protect Flacco? Who's the 'go to' receiver? Is Terrance West really an answer at running back? That's what has me concerned. Right now I'm thinking 8-8 subject to change depending on what Ozzie does for the offense in the weeks ahead. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted May 6, 2017 Author Posted May 6, 2017 Snowflakes... they fall all year round now.HAHAHAHAHAHA Quote
vmax Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 All solid questions oldno82.On offense the Ravens have too much to prove before I can call this a legit playoff- contender.I do think the offense will be better than last years 21st scoring offense. All I hear on Flacco is good. Motivated, running sprints, working out real hard....I think Joe is on a mission. But what about those around Joe?We won't know about this line until game 4 and they are the key to success or failure.Same for the running game and receivers. Will Greg Roman make a difference in the running game and team commitment to run? Let's count on Parity to make this season real interesting. Quote

Right now I'm thinking 8-8 subject to change depending on what Ozzie does for the offense in the weeks ahead. No West is not the answer, not a bad guy to have around but full time carry a team, no. Just me but I they were/are counting on Kenneth Dixon. Lorenzo Taliaferro is a good back-up. And don't forget Javorius "Buck" Allen. Keep in mind teams stopped drafting RB. Wasn't it just last year or the year before there was a RB taken in top ten for a very long time. LT seem to be looking good last season, Stanley seems to have much upside. Hurst at this time look to be on the other side. Yanda still out there smashing along. Let the rookies fight it out. There is that date out there when teams can sign guy without it costing compensatory picks. I look for a center and maybe WR. Also keep in mind this team is loaded at TE. My biggest worry of the coming season is Joe and if the fear is gone Quote
papasmurfbell Posted May 7, 2017 Author Posted May 7, 2017 We have seen where Joe is ready to go basically every yr the last 4 and he only showed up with Kubes. He is only a game mang and unless that OL is destroying in the trenches Joe will let the offense down. Quote
oldno82 Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Max, I think the biggest problem on offense is the center and right tackle positions. Hurst is a below average RT and there's no legitimate center even on the team I still think they should pick up Mangold to play C. I don't know what anybody can do now about the RT. Quote
vmax Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 These speculation on bringing in 30 year old Blount.... The Baltimore Ravens turned back the clock this year by investing heavily on defense in free agency and in the draft. How can the Ravens continue their old-school offseason?Sign running back LeGarrette Blount. He's the hard-hitting, battering-ram big back who can return the punch to Baltimore's running game. Blount led the NFL with 18 rushing touchdowns last season, and he gained more rushing yards (1,161) than any back to hit free agency this season...http://www.espn.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/35829/ravens-can-continue-old-school-offseason-by-luring-legarette-blount Jamison wants the Ravens to go back to Old School football. And he's right. They haven't been able to win or make the playoffs without the running game.Dixon really hurt this team by getting suspended. Asshole. Quote
