Mahomes is doing Mahomes, Rogers was back to normal; we shall see about Wilson. MVP hit maybe...but look who his competition was and the weather. I think he still leads. At least IMHO. Quote
tsylvester Posted December 1, 2019 Posted December 1, 2019 Oh I agree 82, the weather and the defense will play a role in his poor passing yards. Also likely to heighten his case when you factor in his 100+ yards rushing. Quote
oldno82 Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 Next week it'll be tough playing the Bills in their stadium but I just have a feeling we have a big day anyway. I base that on the prediction for weather in Buffalo next Sunday which is currently that it will be 44 degrees and cloudy and no snow. If that holds I think our offense catches fire again. Quote

vmax Posted December 5, 2019 Author Posted December 5, 2019 and the beat goes on..... vmax Posted December 13, 2019 Author Posted December 13, 2019 It's mind boggling.... Quote Lamar Jackson is setting NFL records left and right it seems. Already having broken Michael Vick’s record for most rushing yards by a quarterback in a single season Thursday night against the New York Jets, Jackson then threw his 29th touchdown pass of the season. Already having broken Michael Vick’s record for most rushing yards by a quarterback in a single season Thursday night against the New York Jets, Jackson then threw his 29th touchdown pass of the season. This score set another NFL record for most touchdown passes thrown by a quarterback 22 or younger, previously set by Peyton Manning in 1998 and tied by Jameis Winston in 2016. Not too much later in the game, Jackson added to his own record with his 30th touchdown pass of the 2019 season. It’s worth noting that these touchdown passes not only represent a new NFL record, they also lead the league in 2019. Young or old, nobody’s coming close to the kind of game Jackson has at his disposal these days. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/lamar-jackson-set-another-nfl-record-thursday-night-this-time-with-his-arm/ar-AAK4GSs?li=BBnb7Kz&ocid=U508DHP Quote

I've been following football for decades and have never seen a talent like Lj@8. And on top of all that he's so humble and decent. And what a leader!! Quote

cravnravn Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 (edited) And Lamar is only 22 years old Joe Burrow the LSU qb is older. By the time Burrow inks his NFL contract Lamar will have 2 seasons under his belt and a SB ring. Edited December 14, 2019 by cravnravn Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 14, 2019 Posted December 14, 2019 My worry is the week off before the SB. It gives an extra week for the NFC team to break down the offense and teach their defenders how to play this. Alos I suspect it will be SF representing. Getting 2 bites at that apple is real handy.
