tsylvester Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 Sell, PFF is a scam.. Do the math, how long it will take to study every play of every player. Oh and to know what their assignments were on each play... Stephens is a rookie who has showed promise, but also has shown how much learning he has to do... Quote
vmax Posted December 20, 2021 Author Posted December 20, 2021 Buy Or Sell: This 2021 Ravens squad must be aggressive to win. Quote It's clear Harbaugh has decided that playing a certain way, i.e., very aggressively, fits this team's nature and skill set. And it really fits in a year when the Ravens are so banged up that they're basically just trying to steal wins. If you didn't notice, Harbaugh was aggressive throughout this game, not just at the end, going for it four times on fourth down. Rather than being conventional and conservative, he's going for broke to try to give his depleted team a chance to take advantage when opportunities do ariseEisenberg’s Five Thoughts on Loss to Packers (baltimoreravens.com) Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 There are times you must be aggresive and times you must be conservative. It depends on the situation. But Harbs has defered all his decision making to a computer. We might as well have him as coach. Quote

You go on a 9 min 12 play drive, you kick the field goal to start the game. Let the score be a reward. Yes you go for 2 to win when your secondary is depleted and you lose another secondary player in game. That 3 pts might have won the game...... Made the 2 pt failure not needed Quote
varaven45 Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 Completely agree ! This team has morphed into losing and forgot how to actually win games. Changes in coaching/key personnel and a return of 20+ from IR will put us back in AFCN hunt next year Tough off season decisions - QB and OC - in the offing ! Quote

Bingo! 4 games decided by a total of 9 points tells you how deep this team is.. Granted, the overall play in the NFL is down, injuries, covid, practice changes per CBA, who knows. But this team is cap strapped, and they have to pay Lamar, let alone a host of other soon to be free agents. Problem, is this just a down year for Lamar, can they get him back on the right track? 1 Quote

vmax Posted December 21, 2021 Author Posted December 21, 2021 BUY OR SELL: The AFC North will not be sending 2 teams to the playoffs. Sundays Ravens/Bengals game is for all the marbles. Quote
tsylvester Posted December 21, 2021 Posted December 21, 2021 Buy, things fell a part quickly for this division... Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 Major buy. But it is getting to the point where none of them should be allowed in. Quote
vmax Posted December 22, 2021 Author Posted December 22, 2021 I'm buying too. Yet I'm not giving up after the Ravens lost by a point to the Packers. That tells me a lot about this team. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 One issue with that. The packers have Adams and very little behind him as receivers. Cincy has 3 really good wrs. Then tack on a good te and a really good rb and you have a db nightmare. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 Buy or sell? Koch is pressed into an duty this week. Quote
oldno82 Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 I'll sell. They'll pull some poor schlunk off the streets to play qb. Quote
vmax Posted December 25, 2021 Author Posted December 25, 2021 I'll sell. From what I am hearing Huntley will start. He's sick but not sick enough to miss out. Josh Johnson next in line. Then Koch. Quote

oldno82 Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 This is utterly ridiculous! This game should be postponed. If they play it, it will just be a ripoff not only of the fans and players but even the advertisers. And just how does the NFL expect to get through the next 6 weeks? Like I said earlier in the week, they should just shut down the whole league and that was before what happened yesterday and today. 1 Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 The advertisers are not a big deal since this isn't a national game. But next week could be an issue. They need to harden their testing and prevention protocols now to get on top of this. Quote

A ton of ppl going to the eagles game were pissed. On their way to Philly by car or flight and leaving Monday morning and they were totally hosed. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 Buy or sell? The rams must be pissed about the time change. Will they be mad enough to take it out on the ravens? Do they pull a ravens closing out Texas stadium humiliation? Quote
tsylvester Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 Buy, Rams roll, much like the Cinci game in score... Quote
vmax Posted December 28, 2021 Author Posted December 28, 2021 Sell. They are flying in Saturday night. By the time they check in at the Hotel Covid in the Inner Horror they'll be lucky to get 4 hours sleep. By Sunday morning they will be putting their shoes on wrong. Quote
