I wonder who else was available with the pick we used to draft Elam... Well, at least Elam is playing, though poorly. Brown can't even get activated on game day.

I expect a first round pick to contribute right away and other than providing a body to put in that position I don't think Elam has contributed. Brown is a second round pick that can't even make the active list on Sundays. It's been 2 years and that to me tells me he ain't going to make here.

All the ingredients are there for a real crapper for the Ravens on national TV.

Well put. I'm getting especially pisssed by receivers who break off their routes and don't complete the. Is it really that tough to do. Seems like every week I hear one of our receivers has done that.

This past Sunday showed how good the Ravens are and aren't. They are an average team. They can beat up on the little guys but can't beat the quality teams. They need more talent. Torrey Brown disappeared this year...Campanero was having a great game until he pulled the hamstring...Pitta went down (and may not make it back)...Daniels was out against the Bengals...No one could take Pitta's place and no one now can take Daniels. The defensive backfield is a mess. What happened to Will Hill? Did he even play Sunday? With Jimmy Smith out I'm surprised Dalton didn't have a better day.

Funny...if you look at the tape you'll see the DB put his hand out and makes contact with Smith before Smith makes contact with the DB. It was a call that could have gone either way and it went against us this time.

I had a bad feeling going into this game...too hard for Ravens to win against competent teams when we're playing away. BTW, Joe stunk it up or our receivers weren't getting separation. I couldn't tell which. And now it's time to go retch into the toilet.

If I saw the play right, it looked like Dalton was stopped until he was pushed in by 2 non-lineman. Smart move by Bengals.
