Oldschool739 Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 All did well, with Boldin looking like a super star.....Williams plays tonite and Reed hasn't been cleared to play yet. http://www.baltimoreravens.com/photos/photo-gallery/How-Did-Former-Ravens-Perform-In-Debuts/7aa4ec1c-6d44-42b1-b69c-248388fcb052 Goooo Ravens !!!! Oldschool739 Posted September 9, 2013 Author Posted September 9, 2013 Kruger had a sackYea, he got paid the most and did the least but still was productive.. REPEAT !!!! Quote
yourdreamwillend Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Reed was an awesome cheerleader Quote
Geronimo Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Cary Williams had an INT and broke up a pass near the end of the game that sealed it for the eagles. Wish we could have kept him and let Jimmy Smith go, Cary was playing some very good ball at the end of last year. Quote
GrubberRaven Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 As talented as Cary Williams was and while watching some of the game last night, I'm happy we let Williams walk. He's a hot head and walking penalty machine...we already have that in Jimmy Smith 1 Quote
cravnravn Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Lets not go ga-ga over Boldin, he was going up against a horrible defense.. Quote
Oldschool739 Posted September 10, 2013 Author Posted September 10, 2013 Carey will do that, make a big play here and there while getting burnt in coverage over and over again. They let the Skins back in that game last nite from loose coverage..... I don't question his being cut, or letting the others go except for Q, and I understand that move also.... If he would have restructured, he would still be here so it was his decision to walk.... Watch Marlon and get used to that name, he's gonna be a good-n...... Goooo Ravens !!!! Quote
Geronimo Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 The only BAD game i remember Cary having was the Denver game in the regular season, At least Cary makes big plays, i could stomach Smith if he made a big play here and there but he doesn't. Quote

He has awwsome ability. It's all in his head. This may well be his last year as a Raven. It's the Raven way. Quote

oldno82 Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Actually, Smith is very good in coverage HE JUST DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO FIND THE BALL AT THE CRUCIAL MOMENT! Quote
Oldschool739 Posted September 13, 2013 Author Posted September 13, 2013 Actually, Smith is very good in coverage HE JUST DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO FIND THE BALL AT THE CRUCIAL MOMENT!He's good in red zone coverage but not open field, he gets burned often, just like Carey did.
