vmax Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 There is no doubt that the Ravens players have had this game circled since their brutal loss earlier the season. It's a business game. A win gives the Ravens the #1 seed in the playoffs and all roads will lead through Baltimore. the Browns stand in the way. I think they slaughter them. Baker Mayfield after the game.... Quote
oldno82 Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 Not as sure as you are...the game is an away game and the Browns may be playing so Kitchens doesn't get fired. Not sure how much they like Freddie but Mayfield argued for him to become HC. The most important thing for the Ravens is to avoid injuries. We also need to win so we can get a 'bye' week in January. Should be a fun game. Quote
varaven45 Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 Another coin toss in my mind. Super Bowl II for the Browns. They really match up well with us. It should be a cliffhanger regardless of what everyone says. Quote
Spen Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 The Ravens need the win, the Browns want the season over. Ravens by 16.4 Quote
cravnravn Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 Team is focused, leaveland won't be taken lightly like they were in September. 42-13 Purple guys Quote
vmax Posted December 18, 2019 Author Posted December 18, 2019 This is a different Ravens team than the one In the blowout loss. Williams and Smith didn't play. There were serious communication issues in the secondary. Peters wasn't here. Lamar was turning the ball over. There will be a slew of Brownies asking to play for the Ravens. Eric has set up an employment application booth on their sideline. #1 seed on the line with the Brownies in the way. They will be steamrolled. Let's take a peek at what the Browns fans will be doing in the stands.... Quote
varaven45 Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 Love the overwhelming confidence here. Hope you are all right. Still seeing a fighting dog and playing for Kitchens job. We’ll see. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 After the poor play I think Lamar and otehrs want payback. You have multiple guys looking to get out of Cle. This will not look good. Quote
tsylvester Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 Can the Ravens defense stop the edges of rush the Browns love to run? If so, this will be a blowout win. The Browns are heard yelling to other teams to trade for them; wanting out of Cleveland. The Ravens are on a 10 game win streak, 12 players voted to the pro bowl game. Over confidence might set in which would allow the Browns to stay on top and possibly win. However! The Browns made the Ravens look like fools 11 games ago, so my thoughts are; Beware Browns; Something Wicked This Way Comes! Ravens by 17 Quote

vmax Posted December 20, 2019 Author Posted December 20, 2019 Quote CLEVELAND, Ohio – There will be a team at FirstEnergy Stadium Sunday with a second-year quarterback that is the most exciting story in the NFL this season. It was supposed to be the Cleveland Browns and Baker Mayfield. Instead, it’s the Baltimore Ravens with Lamar Jackson..............https://www.cleveland.com/browns/2019/12/the-painful-truth-about-the-cleveland-browns-season.html The painful truth. It will be very interesting to see how the Ravens perform, because the Browns have played the Ravens tough 2 out of the last 3 times....winning 2 of those games. It's very hard to figure how "in division" games will play out due to familiarity, pride and hatred. The Browns will show up. Note: Lamar is only 305 yards and 1 TD behind Chub. Insane. Team Stats Points Per Game 33.7 21.2 Points Allowed Per Game 18.4 23.5 Total Yards 417.6 367.6 Yards Passing 215.4 241.1 Yards Rushing 202.1 126.4 Yards Allowed 331.6 371.8 Pass Yards Allowed 235.4 236.6 Rush Yards Allowed 96.1 135.2 Quote
oldno82 Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 I'm expecting a hard fight. It won't be another blowout. But I'd love to be wrong! Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 I think Cle as a whole is resdy to throw it in. The D already has. Get up by 2 TDs and they will stop trying. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 The D is not looking that good so far. Quote
Spen Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 Oh well, maybe next year. Just more proof a Harbaugh led team will never win a SB. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 I guess the team wants to have to play hard next week. Quote
