vmax Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 Have fun with this! Quote After the best regular season in franchise history, Head Coach John Harbaugh was named Coach of the Year by the Pro Football Writers Association, while Offensive Coordinator Greg Roman was named Assistant Coach of the Year. It's the first time that a Ravens head coach has won Coach of the Year from the PFWA. Roman becomes the third Ravens coordinator to win Assistant Coach of the Year from the PFWA, joining former defensive coordinators Marvin Lewis (2000) and Rex Ryan (2006). Quote
oldno82 Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 What can I say? They both earned it over the regular season. Quote
tsylvester Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 I thought Tomlin should have won it; lose all of those players, big named, talented, be down to a 3rd string qb and still be in it at the end? Quote
varaven45 Posted January 17, 2020 Posted January 17, 2020 This is the ultimate boobie prize. I’d of taken the AFCC game instead. Agreed that Tomlin did more with less; Vrabel and McDermott not too shabby either. Quote
GrubberRaven Posted January 17, 2020 Posted January 17, 2020 Tomlin won with an insanely talented defense... He was a Dilfer away from being Brian Billick Quote
papasmurfbell Posted January 17, 2020 Posted January 17, 2020 With the players he lost to injury Tomlin did more with less. Quote
Spen Posted January 17, 2020 Posted January 17, 2020 So were all pretty much in agreement, cool Quote
oldno82 Posted January 17, 2020 Posted January 17, 2020 I think Tomlin had a good argument considering all the injuries and other losses (AJ Brown, Bell) but they lost the last three games of the season. With the Ravens completely re-inventing an entire offense and then winning 12 in a row, I have to still say it's Harbaugh. Quote

It's a team sport and it took many people to make this incredible season happen. It wasn't "just John." Yet he was at the center, managing this new beast and he did a fabulous job at that. I'm still pissed off about the loss, yet not pissed off enough the take a step back and go "Wow!" what an incredible job by John and many others in building what we thought would be a marginal/possible contender into a breath taking 14 win juggernaut. Harbaugh is the right man for HC of the Year. Quote
vmax Posted January 20, 2020 Author Posted January 20, 2020 Next topic. Can we all agree, that for the Super Bowl, we're AFC fans? Quote
papasmurfbell Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 I like the 9ers. Until Andy proves he is not going to fold he will. Quote
cravnravn Posted January 20, 2020 Posted January 20, 2020 Ill be pulling for the Chiefs and T Sizzle Quote
Spen Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 Chiefs for me because they never won one. I don't care too much though. Quote
oldno82 Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 Slightly behind the Chiefs. 50 years is a long time. But I won't be sad at all if SFO wins. The 49'ers have an entertaining defense and crushing running attack. I think the '9'ers win it. Quote
GrubberRaven Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 Whatever happened to Tyreek Hill beating his kid? Quote

papasmurfbell Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 Yeah. Punching a woman in a casino is pretty stupid. But it is also how they covered it up for Ray as much as they could and when they got caught with their hand in the cookie jar they made an example of him. Now they dont cover for players. Quote
vmax Posted January 23, 2020 Author Posted January 23, 2020 OK....now that it has been established that we're an agreeable lot, I'm sure we can all agree on this: In the Pro Bowl, Lamar and his offense will score on every drive that he QB's. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 As long as he doesnt have to throw is. Quote
GrubberRaven Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Actually watching this clips now in the background...the precision passing was not his game... Quote
papasmurfbell Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Exactly. He still needs to work on that badly. Quote
