oldno82 Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 Maybe we can wait until early next season to see if Lamar recovers before giving him a loaded contract. That might just be the plan. Max is right, though. Unless you have a club-wide meltdown and wind up with a top 3 draft choice, Lamar is better than the alternatives we've had since 1996. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 If the trade had been done in the past Lamar was worth 3 first rounders at least. Now 2 tops. Quote

papasmurfbell Posted December 8, 2021 Posted December 8, 2021 Completely asinine. But I imagine this comes from tgat storm maybe 5 yrs ago that they said would miss and dumped abo7t 5 inches or so. Quote
vmax Posted December 9, 2021 Author Posted December 9, 2021 (edited) Buy or Sell: This must happen for the Ravens to make the Playoffs..."A dominant front seven could give them new life. It’s the only thing they’ve got at this time." Quote the defense can improve if outside linebackers Tyus Bowser, Odafe Oweh and Justin Houston become better pass rushers and improve on their 14 ½ combined sacks this season. If that happens, that will allow Martindale more freedom to mix coverages. The Ravens are tied for No. 1 in the league in run defense, allowing 84.3 yards a game. But linemen Brandon Williams, Justin Ellis, Justin Madubuike and Calais Campbell would really help out the secondary if they got more pressure on opposing quarterbacks up the middle....Mike Preston: With Ravens nearing a breaking point, the defensive front seven needs to step up | COMMENTARY (msn.com) Edited December 9, 2021 by vmax Quote

That is encouraging actually, all of these injuries, yet still, a few less mistakes on either side of the ball and this year, this team could be almost unbeatable. Yet..... Cleveland, win what ever way you can... Quote

Sell, even with 8 teams dealing with a mass break out, the owners are unwilling to lose money this weekend. With 4 games left, they will risk the health of everyone Quote
vmax Posted December 16, 2021 Author Posted December 16, 2021 (edited) Sell. Most of the players are vaxed so when they test positive, they only need 2 days of back-to-back negative tests to get back on the field. It's not like last year where you are out for a week to 10 days. A team can have 10 players out today and 7 of them suited-up Sunday. TJ Watt is an example. Edited December 16, 2021 by vmax Quote
