He sure impressed the hell out of me. Terrific player. Wish we had gotten him earlier in his career but he still looks like he's got 2-3 years left in the tank.
Our defense was stout and I was impressed. I also wasn't that unhappy with the offense. Juice was really something (yeah he does need more blocking training but has improved), Flacco was downright brilliant especially with the pressure he was getting and Steve Smith showed why he's going to the Hall.
I've been watching Wagner very closely on many plays in the pre-season and I've been very impressed. Kudos to Oz and the OL line coach. http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Rick-Wagner-Officially-Won-Starting-Right-Tackle-Job/ea2b2587-8de1-438e-b924-daeb88acee76
This is what I think is the key paragraph: "BAD NEWS: If the Ravens don't make a few fortunate scrap-heap pickups as they have done in previous years, their lack of depth at defensive end and cornerback will prevent them from having a playoff season. The team will go from one that wins low-scoring games to a squad that loses high-scoring ones."
Not too worried at this point about either line. The secondary, though, is downright frightening without Webb, Smith, and at least an average third CB.
