18 carries for 30 yards. Anybody can do better than that...even Travis Taylor (1 carry 18 yards). I'd put him at RB...use Scott as the back up and rest Pierce and Rice as long as necessary for them to get well. It is that bad.

1. Just shut Torry Smith down. Blanket him. There are no other playmaking threats. The running game is no threat...nothing to worry about....you don't have to use extra players to defend that. 2. Don't let any receivers get behind you. The Ravens offense can't drive the length of the field, so just take the big play away.

I think the leaders will emerge during this losing streak. We'll know later, after things turn around. It will be the guys who step up and make plays during games....the guys who give everything with no quit....they will lead by example and take the reins.

He's taking his first steps out of the NFL. You always need a good punt, but in critical times of the game he's been whiffing. The battle of field position starts with a good punt. The D gets a stop. Then you hope the other punter whiffs or that you get a good return to set the O up. It's hard to put up points having to drive 80-90 yards every time. This was one of the reasons (of many) the Ravens lost to the Browns....field position.

I was talking to some Steeler fans and it's a huge game for them. They said they don't care what happens the rest of the year as long as they beat the Ravens. It's going to be a great game for Ravens and Steeler fans. And for the rest of the country???? 2 teams wanting to beat each others brains out is way more entertaining.

BTW...I don't like saying this because I love watching Ray Rice and what a great person that he is, but, Ray Rice is done. The NFL mileage has caught up with him. He will never be the same. He'll be gone after this season. He's lost power, speed and moves....it don't come back.

No way do I want top go through that again. I think Geronimo wants Jason Campbell to QB the Ravens and the Browns to have Flacco. It would be a wiser use of money that is not his, and until the Ravens get it right, he will be upset.

Joe was inconsistent, streaky and inaccurate. definitely part of the reason the Ravens lost. He had guys open in critical situations and missed them.

Combination of both IMO. The players are not executing so the blocking scheme doesn't matter but they should get some scheme that plays to their strength....if there is opne. Watching NFL Redzone yesterday I saw RB's hitting the hole fast, accelerating, getting that burst. I have not seen one running play from Pierce or Rice do that all year.

yup....the Browns set them on fire. You need to have a fire sale John. It's been a long time since I've had to sit through a disappointing season....but I know how to do it. All that's left is developing this team and players for next year. All I can look for is to see how this roster and coaching staff finish out the year. If it's like the first half of this season, then it will be a long season next year. If they can get some improvement and wins...get to 8-8...maybe finish on a roll and gain some momentum for next year, then the off season won't feel so bad. We'll be watching somebody other than the Ravens in the playoffs.
