Tornado700 Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 I know Denver is favored by 3 or so, but I'm taking Seattle. I'm guessing the colder weather will have just enough of a problem for Peyton.Seattle 27Denver 24Your picks?
cravnravn Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Defense wins championships, it's not going to be as close as you think, 31-17 Hawks
Geronimo Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 I'm right with the OP, 27-24 Hawks, Harvin wins MVP!
tsylvester Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Defense wins championships, it's not going to be as close as you think, 31-17 Hawks I could see that, frankly I am torn. Wilson's ability to extend plays ala David Kreig, Fran Tarkington give me pause when trying to pick the Broncos. Add in Harvin & his return ability. Even so, four wide outs, 3 of them over 6'-2" and Manning is very hard to pick against.
cravnravn Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 The key is Lynch, I don't see Denver's d stopping him, and if that's the case it will open it up for Harvin and Wilson to make big plays.
cravnravn Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 And another thing, I haven't watched Espn or the nfl channel I n 2 weeks, and I doubt I'll watch the super bowl. I had enough manning nut hugging week1 to last me until the POS retires.. plus its 82 degrees here Sunday
Robjr83 Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 I'd say Hawks.... Seattle's D plus the cold weather will slow down the Donkies.
GrubberRaven Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Broncos. Just looked at Lynch's stats and was surprised at how many games he did NOT break 100 yards. After all the talk of his 'Beast Mode' I expected more.
papasmurfbell Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Hawks. The Denver D is based on Peyton getting a lead and running up the score. I think the D gets to him and the Hawks offense is allowed to do well. I don't think Denver has an answer for Wilson.
Spen Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 I think its going to be close, not sure who I think will win yet. I think the Broncos in the final minute.
thesteelhurtin Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 I'm going Denver they have 4 WRs and a RB with 10 or more TD receptions.
papasmurfbell Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 I think that Moreno has only been good because of Peyton. If he has a bad day I think Moreno will too. Also I think they have the DB's and LB's todeal with the numbers. Welker canbe made to quit via fear.
vmax Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 I'm going with Seattle. They'll win with defense and win the turnover battle. Wilson makes the few big plays that they will need.
vmax Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 15-0 end of first quarter. 11 yards of offense for Denver.TV commercials are ok....not spectacular. The woman who sang the National Anthem was great.
vmax Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 22-0...Denver needs the stadium lights to go out.
vmax Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Harvin runs 2nd half kickoff all the way....29-0This is like the Ravens SB. The lights will go out shortly.
GrubberRaven Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Wow...worst Superbowl ever...what an implosion
Spen Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Denver wasn't good but I think it was because of how great Seattle played. One of the best SB performances ever IMO.
